#My lvp transitions aren't coming together good

I'm a little confused with the lvp transition. Did I cut too much carpet pad? The transition doesn't look good. Where do I screw into?

So this isn't quite in the scope of projects this server focuses on.
However I can provide a bit of advice on this.

You actually need to remove some of the carpet in this situation.
As per my advanced diagram the red portion of carpet needs to be removed so that you might glue down your transition strip to the floor but also to slightly to the carpet edge as well.

You will need to apply a thinish bead of subfloor adhesive/PL/Lepage glue then you get the joy of placing that transition there with a bunch of weights on it across the entire length and pray to the floor dieties that it stays flat.
Sometimes some carefully placed 23g pins can also assist in this.

That transition strip needs to be glued to the actual floor your flooring is sitting on otherwise it won't last.

You could try only gluing to the LVP side but you run the risk of the carpet getting pulled up because it's no longer secured down
