New to me this year: inlay, tapered M&T, haunched M&T, texturing with gouges, dealing with rake and splay, incorporating metal, angled dovetails, resawing by hand, router carving letters, working with cherry, oil finishes, using shooting board.

Haha I'd forgotten about to fancy poop bag dispenser... so good. How's the bench brush treating you? I've been hoping to make one like that myself

So far it’s only clean up the mess from finishing the fibres this morning, glue is still setting. But seems promising. Feel free to tag me if you build one I plan on making another it was super fun

Oooh this foot stool looks incredible. I love the crisp dovtails! And the angley bits on the bottom of the feet!

What did you do for the guitar stand, buff it to a mirror shine? How is it so shiny? It's beautiful

Lol! Dog still sleeps in the middle of the bed, the dog bed is now “wife’s extra leg room bed”

It’s just thinned out poly/oil mix I believe? but I took the picture right after the coat was put on. It’s not as shiny anymore and I don’t even think it’s ever seen a wall or a guitar yet (January 2023)
