So I’m in the market for a desk at the moment
I want to have a desk with a pull out keyboard table
I know there some online but the ones out there don’t have a keyboard table as big as I want it
When Installing a slide out table how would I know it would be stable enough to hold 50%+/- of my weight to use to to type and maybe use it to write one?

drawer slides will have a weight rating on them
How large of a table do you want? Are you looking for just sliding in and out or do you want tilt, height adjust, and swivel as well?
I just want to sliding in and out one
But can you tell me about the other options so I can have them in mind?
I have this one. I put a 35.5” by 12” keyboard tray on it.
Thx guys
And you’re able to push it back in and out?
Yeah it pushes back so the tray is fully under the desk.
It has like a 15” travel I think.
And how much weight can I put in it
I have a bad habit of leaning in my desk too much
It probably can’t take 75 lbs without slipping. But I can put my forearms on it and lean my torso on it while sitting and it flexes a tiny bit but otherwise holds.
If you really want to bear down on it, slides are probably your best bet.

Found this vid
Do you know how one would make the front collapsable like in the vid?
The Gat Creek Oxford Desk system includes keyboard drawers with dropdown fronts and smooth side mounted ball bearing drawer glides. This configuration facilitates ergonomic keyboard height and a generous storage area.
I haven’t done anything like that, but it looks like they just have two hinges that they’ve sunk into the boards and a clasp to hold it in place when closed.
