I am going to stain and finish my newly bought karlby and I want to onow which type of paint brush are best for applying? I have heard that a cloth/teatowel is good for stains and synthetic brushes are good for finishing but are these correct?

Probably want to let everyone know what you'll be applying.

You would probably get decent result using a disposable foam brush for the poly. Stain is mostly getting wiped off, so literally anything for that. I use cut up rags
