#Which hand-tool to use for nonlinear cuts in semi-thick wood?

Hello Sir,
I would like to know which hand-tool (which saw) to use to cut through wood that is at maximum a couple centimeters thick,
and of which the cut is non-linear but not uncontrollable.
I know of manual fretsaw but it would take an eternity to saw through wood seen in the picture on the right, wouldn't it?
Also, the frame of the saw would need to be more than a meter in depth.

I would say if you’re new enough in your woodworking journey to not understand the tooling it would be best to make some rectangles first.

There’s a few ways to achieve this, but I’m confident a one meter fretsaw is not among them.

ECE sells frame saws which can take a blade that does this, but they are harder to use than a normal (to americans) handsaw. You could also use a chisel to do this

why would it need a meter in depth ? just turn the blade...
