Hey guys how would I be able to achieve something like this? I want to make a circle but not cut the circle off and make a hole? Thx in advance

a router and a template would be simplest

so would i cut off a circle first with a template and then glue together the bottom part?

no, you would cut the larger circle and then use a template, router and pattern bit to remove the inner circle material

alternatively, on that piece, you could so the outer ring as a separate piece since it is painted

i see so they're called pattern routing bits - gotcha. just found a vid on youtube.
