hi, a friend needs advice repairing their chicken/duck coop. heres the link they gave me for where they bought it from. https://www.aosom.ca/item/pawhut-galvanized-large-metal-chicken-coop-cage-4-rooms-walk-in-enclosure-poultry-hen-run-house-playpen-rabbit-hutch~D51-185.html?recv=eyJwYWdldHlwZSI6InNjaCJ9&_ac=Search-Galvanized aviary 10ft x 26 ft
. they said they tried contacting where they bought it from but they dont have replacement poles. i don't know anything about building or working with wood, so i thought i'd ask you guys for help. here's more info on the situation

#

thank u for any possible help

I don't see any productive way to use wood to fix this other than just building a new structure which is an entirely different undertaking.

#

It's also probably more of a DIY question than a woodworking one

im about to sound really stupid but why wouldn't cementing the pole back in place work?

Considering the pipes are welded to each other and need fixtures for attaching to each other and such... No? I have no idea whether cementing the pole would work as there's not really much useful information in the OP.

so i can ask them and know if i should suggest it or not

I just said I have no idea whether it would work

#

pretty solidly outside the realm of woodworking

You would have to build an entire structure of wood with load distributed to the ground

#

There is not a simple way to affix wooden objects to cheap steel frames

odd saddle
#

that sounds like a lot of work

Yes.

odd saddle
#

so definitely a no on the cementing?

brave rose
#

I have no idea what that means

hold on lemme reread what they said
