DEAL OR NO DEAL??
I was considering the Grizzly G0869 - 10" 2 HP Benchtop Table Saw and buying an after market stand for it or the Delta 10 inch contractor saw both are in the $600 to $700 range.
Then I saw this, is this a deal or is it just a good saw at a decent price? It's a 2 hour drive to the location and a 2 hour drive back home.

Don't have any personal experience with it but lack of a riving knife and motor hanging out the back makes the Delta a no brainer compared to that for me

I have no experience with Jet tablesaws, but I absolutely love my Delta saw. Many people in this discord have one, I believe Dru was the one who started promoting them because theyre just a good saw at a price most people can handle. Plus, it has a riving knife, as Zane said.

With that price, the drive time, and lack of a riving knife I would just go delta.

This is the one I have, not sure if you meant this tablesaw or another. I bought it before inflation, meaning I paid only 600, but I would buy it all over again at the current price and it would still be well worth it in my opinion. Normally a pretty cheap dude but I'm glad I splashed out and bought new for the thing I use the most when in the shop.

I paid $359 for mine when Lowes was offloading them last winter. I would also pay the current price for it in a heartbeat

Well you may not get as good of a deal as Zane did but I think we are all in agreement that for a tablesaw in the $700 range, that Delta saw you were looking at it is your best bet.

Yepp, Delta for sure. Wasn't trying to brag though. Point was I would happily pay full price for it

I'm curious what the hesitancy on the outboard motor is from... just a space consideration or is there a performance aspect?
