Unable to get KOreader on my Remarkable2 | reMarkable | Page 1

Ok, here’s my issue. I recently found out about “side loading” the KOreader on my r2, and I haven’t been able to get it connected.

I’ll have to review my notes as it was a few weeks ago, but here’s a quick summary:

I first tried the WiFi route, have my IP and password, but when I tried to get in (and I have gotten a connection via WiFi a long time ago when I first got my r2), I couldn’t get to the password. It stated something like access denied.

So then I tried the USB route, ultimately trying all types of USB cords, cords which I confirmed worked to transmit date via other devices, but when connecting to my r2, I couldn’t get the toggle to … toggle on.

So I’m open to ideas, and happy to go through the process again to document via photos.

ssh [email protected] is a command that you run in Command Prompt or Terminal or whatever your operating system has.
