#Bricked RM2

Hey, I made a mistake a while back when I tried setting up a sort of dual-boot of two versions of the OS on my RM2, which in turn completely bricked my device.

I recently got around to buying some parts in order to get my device back working, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like the tablet wants to go into recovery mode (getting the "maybe USB cable is bad" message, have tried rotating the cable).

I am following the ddvk recovery github page, and am wondering if perhaps I am trying to short the wrong pins on my cheap usb-c breakout board (see pic below).

Any help would be wonderful, thanks!

IIRC you need to short one of the SBU pins to GND

yes I've tried shorting the SBU2 pin to GND but it's not working

could it be that I need a male usb-c breakout board? Since the one I have atm is female only
