Can 3.x receive POGO keystrokes to turn pages?

I am working on a foot pedal like this: https://github.com/reini1305/remarkable_footpedal/

I had the button working great on 2.14 (after uninstalling ddvk hacks). Then I thought I'd upgrade my rm2 firmware if ddvk would no longer work with my new foot pedal...

But now on 3.0 and 3.9, I can't seem to find any keystroke that will turn pages (experimenting by plugging in a regular USB keyboard).

Any ideas? Or should I just revert back to 2.x?

3.x adds a new pogo driver to support the type folio

#

You'll need to reverse engineer it's protocol, or unload the module and load your own for communicating with your previous stuff

Here is the kernel driver for the folio. You can find more information in the history in #rm2-pogo-connector

Thanks a million. A few minutes of reading have convinced me that I'm just reverting to 2.x. You guys are light years ahead of me on this stuff!

It would be worth moving to 3.x eventually but it may be a bit early for that

Maybe when people WAY smarter than me figure out a foot pedal. 😄

I think what would be worth it is just a generic library for communicating with the rM2 over the pogo port as if it's the folio
