Recipe book not working for new players | Mine in Abyss | Page 1

I have had access to the server's custom recipes in the recipe book since I returned from a previous reset however whenever i direct new players to the recipe book they say that there is nothing there. This leads me to believe that new players are not getting access to the custom recipes, they also do not seem to learn the recipes at any point, even after successfully crafting the item in question.

This probably makes the new player experience super frustrating, especially with the lack of an up to date and comprehensive wiki

as a somewhat new player(2weeks ago) i was confused as to what people were talking about as i couldnt find any of the recipes in the book. aswell as just today i was showing someone the server and they didnt have the recipes in their book either. (yes show all was ticked so that i could see all recipes and not just craftable ones)

thought i should add that even after i crafted the custom craftables they didnt show up and even having all the stuff to build the item wouldnt let me see it in craftable recipes

were you looking in the recipe book in your inventory, or in a crafting table?

the recipe book only shows you recipes that you have the required space to craft

i just got back on to double check bc its been a bit and no its not working for either

me and a friend who started a few major updates ago do have access to the recipes, but anyone new who i brought to the server since the last server reset didn't have any of the recipes

the players i was with on discord (including snowden) didnt have it show up and had the resource pack

ill get another person who was having the same issue to see if its fixed on their end but as of right now they craftables are showing up but as errors, but back when i played consistently i played with the rp and wasnt able to see any of the server stuff and had to get my friends to tell me the recipes

and while streaming we made sure that all of these things were done with checking craft all boxes and having the rp on

there are other instances of this issue in chat that i found when trying to look for the logs of my conversations with other players, i currently dont know how to search for messages from the bot that brings in game chat into discord because the from: filter seems to not recognize the app users in the server chat channel

Hopefully this is fully resolved and i will test by bringing a fully fresh account into the server
