OP are you actually crashing or just losing connection? Crashing involved the game closing on its own. And I have seen people tell me it "crashed" when all they did was lose connection.

i had the same issue
restart on making the modpack and manually add in sodium through the website
in short download the mod off the sodium website and manually put it in the mods folder yourself
YerAnotherConfigLib you can download through curseforge
if you let Sodium Extra install sodium for you. it wont work
trust me i tried
it installs a previous version
curseforge isnt up to date with sodium
thats why it must be done manually
