They did a great statement with the album. They wanted to be back and do what they loved doing and they have all right to do so.
They played it safe with the new album with a lot of recognizable tunes that go further than "catching the iconic LP sound" (I'm loking at you "Cut the bridge").
I wonder how they came up with the "unusual" sounding tracks. Mike singing much more, soft ballads and the tracklist almost seems like on shuffle.
Lets just hope Emily builds a strong synergy artistically and personally. She has the full support of the band and overcame every hurdle. They're on the map, strong as ever. Being younger and new could make her become cocky.
I hope not of course, especially acoustically she fits in with the boys better than anyone could have hoped for.

The fact that the ticketbois also own a lot of venues and festivals and the fact that they have exclusive contracts with artists make a nice cycle of money in the bank ... Considering all the fees on the tickets even when artists wanna keep the price low ... Yeah okay
