Before I say anything, I want to be very clear that I am apolitical and everything in this post is not meant to affiliate with or condone anything that any of the bands say or do. That being said, all of those artists have fans and are successful. Do they have people who believe the same things as them? Unfortunately, yes. Do they have people who don’t care about their off-stage views and just enjoy the music? Also yes. It’ll probably sell quite well, even if most of the people in this server wouldn’t attend. Again, not condoning and I wouldn’t go to the show… I’m just having healthy dialogue ya know? Cheers!

Finally someone with a brain. It’s a tour i think i might go to simply because of STP, imo they make some absolute bangers and would be sick live. Alex’s past is the past, he hung with the wrong crowd and made a bad decision. Fire music tho

5FDP was my whole childhood. I idolized ivan. Wasn't political in any way but alot of the songs helped me with loss and family abuse. I've seen them twice and it's a great show. Also Slaughter is bucket list material

Exactly. From everything I can tell, Alex has been trying to better himself as a person. Plus, he does come from a different cultural background than most of us in the West. Is he bound to make mistakes sometimes? Of course, but that's human nature in general. What we should do is apologize, move on from those mistakes, and continue to grow as people.

cheese pizza is a different story, so is like abuse and such and forth. but if he doesn’t believe them anymore and he’s bettering himself away from that. i can’t for the life of me remember how long ago he said it was (if at all). there could have been some form of pressure for him to get that tatted on him, we just don’t know. which is why i think benefit of the doubt is nice in these situations.

It's perfectly valid to have opinions about a band. You are allowed to say you dislike them. But, that doesn't mean you get to be a dick or absolutely shit on a band someone likes. Don't seek to discredit or invalidate someone else's opinion just because you disagree. Be respectful, recognize that music is subjective anyways, and that everyone's opinion is valid because of that.
