For a first cover this is really nice ! But your footage is desynced i think you could fix that in editing plateform, another tip, you can take multiple point of views and switch them during the song wich really adds dynamics

Hey guys idk if this is the perfect spot for this but I've been arranging a cover of scream aim fire and I have it played out so that the lead and harmony are difrent guitars from the sorta chugs(idk why I did this my brain just did) one of the problems I'm having is it sounds to choppy and cut up and I was wonder how I could make it sound more seamless, I've played long a metronome but that only made it sound more choppy

Timing is a little off, but I really fuck with the screams. With timing it doesn’t sound like an issue with your timing, but more like an editing issue. Everything else sounds sick tho!

Well first, buy vocalign. It’s pricey but it’s the thing that literally everyone to ever make music uses. This just lines up your vocal tracks well, also, check if you have latency issues with your daw, because for many years, I’ve had that issue.

I am far from a music producer person myself though

So what I do to keep the fun high is see if there are intrumentals available for the songs I wanna do.
If not there are vocal remover tools, (doesnt work perfectly but does the thing) if your loud enough youll get over the artifacts and it sounds nice enough for a cover 😄
