Pick positioning has relatively little to do with playing a part like that, that´s more for tonality and clarity and up to song and taste. Get your wrist to the position you´ll normally palm mute at, try to find a position where you mute only the one but not the other string and then get a feel for it by playing octaves

Did some things to my guitar make it sound a tad better and make it just a bit better to play.

Flipped the bridge pickup sounds alot fatter and clearer now even with heavy dist. Added some tape for picks and put some electrical tape on the volume to make it grippier

Tape on the neck pickup is purely aesthetic because dime was doing it

Just ordered this. A modded 1977 EHX Op Amp Little Big Muff. Modded for true bypass, had the capacitors replaced, has an LED, has a standard 9 volt jack, and the highs/lows tone switch now switched between highs and mids! Couldn't pass it up for the price

Are there any exercises to get more finger width & strength? (I struggle a lot with using both my ringfinger and pinky at the same time on the fretboard and want to improve that).
