My main issue is that the season completely lacks direction. Mando has always been about a problem of the week format, then got a bit more story focussed in S2 with a more present antagonist but now with S3 my problem is that there´s just no direction.
S1 and 2 always had the overlying goal of reuniting Grogu with his kind. That arc was finished at the end of 2. Now with S3 we spend the first two episodes subverting the expectation for the main goal of the season set in the first episode, get teased a bigger arc in EP03, that doesnt get picked up on in the following episodes, have a filler for EP04, get a good EP05 that finally puts a bigger goal on the season - but at a time where there are only 3 episodes left and as if that werent enough, NOW they introduce us to "Hey, look, we DO have an antagonist this season, look at that!" to then not address it in the following EP06.

two more episodes and we have only the first step of the overlying goal done and a teased antagonist yet to be addressed and tell me what you want: 2 episodes are not enough to do both justice
