As long as the consumption of the art directly benefits the artist in any way you´re supporting their shitty behaviour and instead of rightfully sanctioning them for being an awful person you´re instead empowering them by giving them attention, thus a stage, relevancy and money.

Austin has spoken extensively about CJ's character and he treated everyone horribly, he was dismissive and disrespectful toward his bandmates, used hate speech, etc. That told me everything I needed to know.

there was no proof of what happened so theres no reason to believe he did any of the very bad things besides just being a asshole but everybody can be a massive asshole
