tbf, I think they have said that if they need to change it, its not something that can be done in a week or so etc.. so giving them until after the summer break seems like the best compromise

would need a whole re-design of certian parts of the engine etc...

its either that or all of the Merc powered cars can't run until they get it sorted, which could be a number of weeks/months

its also going to be gearbox season as Max and a few others have found that dropping to 1st gear on slow corners generates more battery harvesting, so those gearboxes are going to go through hell
