but for real. 2025 does suck. i was on the hopium it would be a very late 2024 just hoping it's early 2025 for console release then late that same year for PC.
but then again after recently finishing RDR2 again i really want them to make an absolute banger. the graphics already look absolutely insane. and we've not even had a technical trailer yet.

Unfortunately that's just the way Rockstar does things, they've been doing it since GTA 4. The strategy has always been. Release initial title, a few months later release the online after everyones played through the singelplayer, and then a year or so after the initial release the PC version comes out
Now, MAYBE, and its only speculation, MAYBE with them having FiveM now, the PC release might come sooner? But that's only hoping. They know they can do this, because everyone and their mother bought the XBOX 360/PS3 release, then they bought the PS4/XBOX One re release, then they bought PC, and some people even bought the PS5/XBOX series X release of the game. Plus with the money they make off of shark cards, there's a reason they accordingly made 8 Billion from GTA V 
With insane initial release sales that was the highest grossing of all time (which I think still remains to this day), PLUS all the release sales
To them, it doesn't make sense to release PC straight away, they know they can make almost DOUBLE the sales by waiting on a PC release, hell, by 2025, the next gen of consoles might be right around the corner, and then you've got ANOTHER set of re releases again
