Grind stranger missions and dailies to get enough gold to afford a role, that's when the real fun begins, recommended starter roles are bounty hunter, collector, moonshiner and trader 👍

I'd personally go for the Bounty hunter since it makes grinding gold a little easier for the other roles

It helps to stay in the area and when you open the pause menu just keep pressing free roam. That will send you to different servers if the animal is not spawning. That or get a group together and hunt it 😅

I bought RDR2 yesterday from Epic on PC and I could not fix the: ERR_GFX_STATE error. I updated every client and driver and deleted the RDR2 folder in the documents order, re-installed the game and what not. I still can not manage to run RDR2. I'll appreciate any help..

It shouldn’t disappear if you already sold the pelt to gus. If you have a pelt on your horse and you join a friends session it will stay on your horse, if you close out the actual game the pelt is gone lol

Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me. I have an issue where Rockstars social club is blocked or doesnt load rather on my wifi connection. I can access it if I go onto mobile data but if I go back onto wifi it cuts out. I cant play Red Dead Online or even go onto the social club website. I have checked my firewall and even contacted my ISP and they double checked that they are not blocking it at all. I already have 260hours on RDO on the same PC, same Wifi and nothing has changed. It just happened. I have contacted R* support but its been a week and everytime I check in on them, I just get an automated reply saying They are looking into it. CtA automatically matchmakes, but it often puts you solo because it can't find anyone. Far as I know, no way to force it to do any different, just gotta take your chances.

so i have been having horrible crashing issues with rdr online. gfx state error. i have to constantly delete sga files and it dsnt always work. drivers all up to date, and have even lowered graphics to the lowest possible. im running the game on m.2. nvme 1080 gtx 8700k 32 gigs ram. i have no issues in anyother game. ive also put in the ignorpipline launch command on steam launch settings and no luck. does anyone have any other ideas?

@low wind rdr2 is story mode AND Online, RDO is only ONLINE its a smaller file size they are seperate Files afaik you can only get special edition content when purchasing the combined game. but if you buy both that content will be linked to your social club, so you will be able to use that content on the RDO version

Every single time I try to launch the game, I get this error. I have not been able to even reach the first loading sequence. Early on, I'd say Trader imo. You get about $650 or so per sale. With the current event, if you make a sale, you can get about $1200 per delivery, of a fully upgraded wagon. For grinding gold though, the Bounty Hunter is probably the best. Rapid, quick doses of money and gold that add up over time

Yes, roles cost gold, which is premium currency. You earn it by doing dailies or finding treasures when you get a map, or you can buy it from the store. Bounty hunter is usually the first choice for roles, because every bounty you do will also give gold.

The original three roles cost 15 gold each, or 10 gold when they go on sale (sales are random). Moonshiner and Naturalist cost 25 gold, or 20 gold when those go on sale.
