Hi guys, im new to RDR2 what should I do first in order to make money?

First you want to complete the main story then do blood money/stranger missions to get enough gold to buy the bounty hunter

Make sure you keep high honor until you have done all the high honor missions and then slaughter as many people as you can to get bad honor and then do all the bad honor missions after that you will have anywhere from 8-10 gold

Once you have got enough gold from bounty hunter to buy the collector that’s the role you want to buy next however I’d recommend switching between bounty hunter and collector so you can get enough gold to buy all the roles as the bounty is the ONLY role you’ll get gold from. Happy Grinding!

I'm assuming perhaps it could be a dual rank vs single rank ram kit issue. I know some people with really high end specs that get some issues with frame times, while others don't. Perhaps it's ram since the game is pretty CPU intensive.

It's not the fact that the game uses more than 16gb, but on 8gb sticks it's only single rank which sends data slower than a single 16gb stick

in the basic role, you can do all of the missions from the board and pretty much everything to be a bounty hunter, the prestigious one just has more cosmetics than perks like gun tricks, bolas variants and the ability to notice random bounty hunter events in free roam while riding around the map and you can upgrade it later on if you dont have enough gold

It's not a bug its a feature, you selected a region not an exact camp spot, so your camp will move around in that region

You generally can't get it to stay in one place, but if you're unhappy with where it is just log out and back in again until you get a more favourable location

I’ve been playing RDO for a while now and while I have the expected fluttering due to not-so-great internet (we were supposed to have fiber optics put in months ago and they just haven’t done so…) today I’ve had some major FPS drops to the point where I can’t even toggle the settings screen to even change my graphics settings. Which is where I wanted to ask - I can’t do anything about my internet but is there anything I can do about even slightly reducing FPS drops regarding graphics settings that y’all recommend? There’s no correct way to spend gold.

Unless— You are a very low level, maybe under 80-90. If you’re a low level spend your gold on Roles. However, if you already have all preferred roles spend your gold however you’d like!

Basically when you start the stranger mission or the capitale mission (the boring and easy ones) you start a timer as soon as you hear the bell. Then you carry on with the mission, in the end there is always this checkpoint you have to go to to finish it. You stop right before it wait until the 12/15mins pass from the start and then finish it

so upon further research, Grizzly Bears unexpectedly spawn at Grizzlies (East) and another not so great fact is that you have to use Sniper Rifle with express ammo/high velocity for clean kill

Dont know what classifies as sniper tho

Typically you have to open eagle eye or wtv. To find the treasure chest, just look around for gold/yellow sparkles. Since you don’t have remote i’m assuming nothing vibrates for you. But that’s typically how it’s easy to find.
