Personally I don't use the overlay so I wouldn't really know how to fix it either if it wasn't a resource based issue

My friend and I first started played Red Dead Online about three weeks ago through XBox Game Pass on our PCs. We've purchased gold in game to buy things.

Now RDO is leaving from Game Pass. We only played on our PC's and don't own Physical Xbox's....

I don't see a way to purchase Red Dead 2 or RDO from XBox Store, so we just lose our accounts and the gold we purchased for real money unless we buy an actual Xbox? I see I can buy RDO on Steam which we would do, but what about our progress and gold we bought through our Xbox accounts? There a way to link an Xbox account when you buy Steam version?

Just so people know, you can get softlocked on a bounty poster wall if you do a "special" bounty (need prestigious bounty hunter pass) and then go back to the bounty wall. There will be nothing for the special poster even if you haven't done two. If you then go to your Legendary bounties and leave it almost instantly, then try to look at the special posters and flip to the second one, it will softlock. However, you can go into your pause menu and join a different match by going to the online section.

yes. you gotta wait a full in-game day before you can do the same bounty - even if the same bounty has multiple people in it that you gotta hunt down one at a time. i think it starts counting from the moment you start the bounty though, so take your sweet time doing them. don't rush it. especially legendary ones - the longer you take to finish any mission (bounties or otherwise), the more money and gold you get (more if you have a multiplier by doing daily challenges every day for up to 28 days)

Use the defensive mode to try and avoid pvp til you’re ready for it, open the interactive menu and switch from Offensive to Defensive @old scarab

You can still interact with the npcs it’s just harder for other players to mess with you

You can just kinda cheat it if you like. It's so much easier to go on Google and look up 'Rdo map' and it should be the first link. It shows you locations of any collectible you need so you don't have to buy madam nazars maps- it takes ages to complete sets from her maps and it's a waste of money 🙄

Yes you will. You'll be spammed with all the popups telling you what you've unlocked.

It's common (on the normal passes that have 100 levels) for people to max it out and then buy, that way if life gets in the way and you can't finish, you're not necessarily wasting money
