IF logging out and back in again fails, you will need to clear your local profile cache:
In Rockstar Games Launcher, go to Settings > Account Information
Select Delete Local Profile
(This will only delete the local cache. It will not delete your Social Club account or saved games)
Select Confirm

My husband and I keep making a temp posse, but we keep needing to recreate it every few mins and sometimes it wont let us invite each other. Any way around this besides farming the money to make a perm one (we are working on getting the money) We keep needing to restart the game now and then to be able to invite eachother.

When the camp bug like that happens to me, I will relog to camp. If that doesn't work a time or two, I will also open my catalog and shop for a few minutes. Many times that has caused the camp to respawn.

it could be many different factors, such as overclocking, bad hardware...if your system runs 100% fine on other games, and if rd2o crashes a lot, it points towards the game.

So, I have twitch prime and I tried to use the benefits I got on rdr2 in the past, but I never got it. It was a benefit for free bounty hunter role. After I never got it, I contacted Rockstar and they told me to contact Amazon, but Amazon didn't help either lol. I have yet to get the latest benefit as well, even though I claimed it. It's only on rockstar games that I don't receive my benefits, including GTA V. Has anyone has this issue and know what's wrong?

I have red dead redemption 2 and every time i boot it up i get Err_gfx_state. i’ll have to open it 5 times and then normally i can only play for about 15 minutes. i’ve tried deleted the sag settings files, adding -ignorepipelinecache and setting my api to directx12 but nothing works. i’m running it off of steam. i have an intel i9 9900k and amd radeon 5700 xt anniversary edition. any help would be much appreciated.

Ah, they were the same as usual, some medium but some high. It was perfectly fine at the start and all the textures were fine. Just as I was playing, over time they loaded up in lower and lower quality until it looked more like an early 2000's game instead of a 60 dollar triple A game...
By the time I restarted my game I wasn't even loading in trees or grass, just ground textures on polygons. My horse and character were okay, but everything was incredibly low quality and other horses/npcs were either not loading in at all or were floating off the ground 
The escape menu didn't even load, so I had to forceclose it.

That sounds real similar to an issue I had and I think I have a possible solution.
For me it was or is a hard drive issues, stuff doesn't load in at all partially, dialogue, textures, you ride on the spot until it loads in, that sort of thing?
Maybe see if some of the files are corrupted and reinstall.
Granted though my problems stem from my hard drive that has some reading issues itself but I'm guessing it's a similar issue.

hello guys. I have a question regarding a "cut scene" when you enter showdownmodes or elimination series.
Usually there is a short cut scene just before the match begins and I've seen a lot of pics where the player has his rifle on the shoulder
I've tried a lot of settings, having the rifle equiped before I start the series, having both holsters and not only one, having both riffles equipped.
But unfortunately whenever I start the elimination series in the "cut scene" I have no weapons. Not even my guns.
Did anyboddy of you already had this problem and know how to solve it? I would like to take a pic with this awesome "rifle-on-the-shoulder-pose"

Likely you have too many members or they have too many posses.. Players you have added in the past, even if they aren't online still take up a space 👍🏻 @sick birch

the processor I have if I turn some of the settings down it goes to around 55% to 70% usage but the FPS go down a fair amount in the game

but to your issue, play with the settings that you have more fps and dont worry about processor usage, mine is 96~98%

i mean, there is a lot of technical stuff that would make this conversation go for hours.... but you gotta make sure the case is not in a tight spot so the heat that it generates leave the case and cold air gets inside

the "players" trot around in small circles, not even close to the finish line, and when you're the only one who has finished, you're forced to spectate. there's no DNF timer

Also started getting this "Unable to launch RDR2.exe" error. Verified the integrity of the files through Steam. Game is updated. Drivers updated. Support page was useless. Any ideas?

I honestly have no idea. I tried the offered help in official support page, didn't work. Launcher is working, I used to launch it via Steam or directly from the launcher now none of them works.

Open your rockstar launcher and then play on steam from it. If it fails to start the game restart the launcher. Usually lets me play after that.
Also force update the launcher if you can

At the this point I exhausted pretty much every DIY "fix" I could find online. I don't understand to be honest. My PC is more than capable of running the game (and did so for 80 hours according to Steam), so I don't think it's the hardware and it's working at peak capacity. Every other game runs perfectly fine. Everything is up to date. Connection is stable. I can't think of anything else at the moment.
I mean the game doesn't even launch. If it was crashing mid-game then maybe I would suspect other things. But it won't even show me the R* logo.

for xbox, there are a couple ways. I don't know exactly how to do them, but there is a way by "joining a poker game" and a way that will require 400 dollars but you will not have to spend them. There are YouTube videos for both ways.

It's pretty simple. Go to the jeanropke website pinned in the #rdo-chat channel. Until you get the shovel and metal detector, just collect flowers, alcohol bottles and tarot cards. Turn in or mail full sets to Madam Nazar. No need to waste money on the collector maps.

@tepid fable in most cases it takes a couple of in-game days until it spawns, for some it was also glitched AFAIK, try advancing your honor in a specific direction, it's possible that you need a certain degree of good or bad honor to proceed.

Hi guys. Having an issue where every time I try to set up a camp it tells me that Cripps has packed it up and I need to set it up again. Any ideas? I'm on PS4.

Except for Google Stadia.
GTA Online is having the same issues on all consoles.
Except for PS3.
PS3 is now limited for GTA Online as well.
