i believe there are loot chests but they dont contain much, over time youll get treasure maps as rank up rewards

Hey guys, I’m facing a serious issue with Red Dead Redemption 2 on my PlayStation 5.

Menu works perfectly, but gameplay graphics are completely broken (white particles, distorted textures, world not rendering). I’ve tried everything reinstall, rebuild database, cache clear, HDR off, 1080p, etc. but nothing fixed it.

Other games work fine, so it seems specific to RDR2.

For me it depends on what you’re wanting, if your wanting quick and easy but not worh much probably the swamps above Saint Denis, if your wanting things worth bit more than average like cow elk or bears I’d go to grizzlys, or if your wanting something between probably the heartlands of the Great Plains, there’s plenty of deers, cows, bison and you can always raid emerald ranch, and in the Great Plains there’s similar things but in larger herds also fishing spots, bears, cougars, and lots of critters/birds for those random daily quests or the collector quests

Try full screening then refill screening, I’ve had consistent issues with the full screen system and it breaking when I alt-tab. In windowed mode I get much less fps so open settings, go to graphics, set it to windowed mode then full screen and see if that fixes it

Any tips for levelling up the naturalist?

so, there are documented issues with DX12 stuttering but since i have a full AMD setup and disabling SAM(which would allow me to play on Vulkan without a VRAM crash) causes problems for me i have to stay on DX12.

On singleplayer the game runs fine - i managed to add a stutter fix mod which pretty much got things right.

On online the game stutters badly obviously because the stutter fix mod can't load.

I tried MANY fixes. including disabling CFG from exploit protection, disabling FSO, MPO, reinstall of Windows and fresh driver installs, even rollbacks..

even increased pagefile size of both SSDs lol i have a swap of 90GB now

Yes, it will work. RDRO STILL has not been optimised for Series X|S or PS5 in any way. What we are doing when we are playing it is essentially using Xbox One version of the game in backwards compatibility.

He will be able to play with you on Xbox One as you are technically still using his native version of the game because Rockstar hates Red Dead or something. Hope this helps :)

Not sure if i should ask here but.. Im like one click away from buying this game. Ever since i saw this game back in Playstation, ive been dying to play it. But im not a console person, more of a desktop person. While i've got a decent laptop, i wanna know if i can enjoy this fully..

My specs are i7-7700hq, GTX 1050 2gb (yeah, got the 2gb gpu variant), 12gb ram.

With the above specs, can i run it at decent fps? I've been playing at 1600x900 or sometimes at 1366x768 as i know my gpu can only handle 720p. Toning down graphics is not a deal breaker for me. I just wanna know if i can play this game decently with medium or low. Im worried if i buy the game and my laptop cant run it then its gonna be a waste and i wont be playing it at all due to me being pissed off at not being able to play the game

Will all depend on what settings you’re using. If you look at the minimum hardware requirements, the game is not very demanding.

Also, why worry when the game releases in about 2.5 hours and you can just see yourself how it plays?

I do believe you should be able to run it “decently” enough. Probably not at 60fps. But remember that console versions ran at pmuch 30fps and the game still looked gorgeous.
