I think I’m having a problem in RDR ONLINE with my satchel pamphlets. I can only store up to 30 Health Cure tonics, while I’ve seen other players storing up to 40. This doesn’t just apply to tonics other items like valuables, ingredients, and materials also stop at 30. I’m not sure if I need to read a specific pamphlet for this, but I already have all the Role and Fence pamphlets and have bought and read all the others from the Fence.

If you go to rockstar games on your phone, log in, and then click at the right top corner "R*" and your name with a lot of alternativs will pop up. I have a question, super curious if anyone else has run into this issue for rdo on PC but every time my friend tries to join up on me or vice versa, it tells us our “assets are incompatible”.
We’ve tried fresh installing the entire game twice, got rid of every possible mod from our game files, restarted our PCs, force close the game in our task manager, switched to only keyboard and mouse, changed our free aim settings and a last ditch effort to contact rockstar support who essentially was zero help(no surprise there)
Everything we’ve tried hasn’t worked at all, and we can barely find any definitive answer online
I don’t even know what an “incompatible asset” even is

I’m just very curious if this is a common issue with an obvious answer or what

For me it sometimes fixes on some months and worsens again on others, but... yeah, naturally it's happening this month. And the game downloaded a 'patch' today which of course made worse on the week where there are specifically hunting bonuses. It's not even doing that refresh when I start a mission, so animals just aren't spawning at all 😞

Do any of you by chance know of any way to mitigate this issue or will I just have to give up on Turkey Hunt week and see if next 'patch' treats me better?

I starting playing a couple days ago, I spent irl cash on gold though. But I believe trader, moonshiner, and naturalist are the best to make money. Giving cripps pelts for trader contribute to it and will add to a delivery, you can upgrade this ongoing. Moonshiner, you are required to have a trader role, but it’s worth it, you start production of your own moonshine at your “moonshine shack” this can give you benefits to your player, but if you are only interested in cash and xp, this is definitely the best to achieve that. Naturalist is a simple but quiet sophisticated role, you are to shoot animals with sedated bullets then take a sample from them. Taking a sample from a legendary animal is worth 50+ dollars. But I just started playing online and I do not know all of the info, this is just my opinion.

It depends for the naturalist, you have to buy a collectors bag, I’m unsure of how much it costs, but I believe there’s an a price without using gold. I just used gold to quickly pass through it (for most of these specialists) You can make gold by completing stranger missions and any thing else. It’s very slow and I would get discouraged that’s why I ended up just buying my way through. But if you are drawn to story and want to have a long controlled story then do missions all over and collect gold to be able to do those specialists

Trader/Collector = 15 gold each
Moonshiner/Naturalist = 25 gold each
Bounty Hunter = 30g (15g for base + 15g for prestigious license)

Collector & Trader rack up a lot of cash - especially if you're joining other people's wagon.

As for gold your best options are free roam missions, bounty hunter, and CTAs (they give 2x cash & gold atm)

trader is very rewarding but be conscious of the fact that each 100/100 wagon takes 3h and 20m to fill up. so dont rely on it completely if you want to get cash fast, i personally do other things to get money while waiting for it to fill up

Hey guys! I heard there was a certain way so that you always have the weapons that you put on your shoulder and back with you when you jump off from the horse on foot.... as it is now for me i ALWAYS have to manually select my two weapons everytime i dismount 🙁

there's a couple reasons as to why this is happening

1. there is a perk you get when you level up bounty hunter, it allows you to use eagle eye while sprinting. if you dont have this then when you start to sprint it will cancel eagle eye.
2. if you have this perk, then its just a bug where the game thinks you dont have it. i think you can swap sessions or just restart your game to fix it.

Hey, is the only way to report a cheating player to use the in-game interface? I literally had a guy glitch teleporting away from bullets, and walking through bullets to the face after griefing me, for which he never went red. I never touched him, I was trying to enter a coop mission and he killed me and my horse. Then, when I would shoot him, he would just take the bullet like it was never even shot. Walked his horse right up to me, then when lassoed, he would instantly glitch out of it and I'd be in his lasso instead.

yep (i only know for PC though):
Open Task manager > Performance > and click on three dots at the top > Ressorce Monitor
While in-game (in a session online),
Search for RDR2.exe in the ressource moniter and cright-click on it and click "suspend Process" and wait 10 seconds then right click on it again and click "resume Process".
And then Alt+Tab back to the game, wait some seconds and you will find yourself in a solo session. hope it helps
