You shouldnt get banned. If you meet a hacker dont engage and change lobbies immediately (go to change appearance in online options then log out again without changing anything to enter a new lobby). Never accept any treasure or gifts if they spawn stuff in - you can be banned for that. If on a public server use a VPN so they cant track you across lobbies. Even better, use a private lobby so you dont ever meet them. Just pay off your bounty and you should be fine

This is probably because I’m only level 10 and don’t have the naturalist role maybe? But it won’t let me take the pelt off the horse and I’m scared if I log off or if my horse dies I’ll lose it?

Is there any way I can get the coat or any way I can store it permanently until I am able to sell it to Gus for the coat?

Hello, can somebody please help me? I have RTX 4050 i5 12hx 24 GB RAM, the game is always opening on my 2nd monitor and in-game i can not change the monitor, it doesn't let me, my fans do not work on full speed as if the game is not detecting that i'm playing RDR2 and the game shows AMD FSSR even though i do not have any AMD components.

When i change Output adapter, Nvidia shows up but it only opens on my 2nd monitor and with this PC it only runs at 40 FPS on medium settings and still my fans aren't working.

Can't run RDR2 on my laptop.. please help.
I have a 12th gen i7-12700H processor, a rtx3070ti graphics card via nvidia and I have 32gb system ram. I should be able to run rdr2 with no issues. HOWEVER......

Rdr2 when it starts on my second monitor, it shows as my gpu, when it starts on my laptop screen it reads as my onboard and not the gpu. when in game settings on the second monitor, it shows gpu adapter as 1 and monitor output is greyed out and its running in vulkan. when i switch to dx12, it gives me intel drivers are out of date error code.

in the nvidia control panel, I have the rdr2 set to run on the gpu and in game system on the laptop itself, I have it set for the gpu. I have disabled the onboard via device manager and rebooted the laptop and it still gives the same issue.

When I have rdr2 in windowed mode and try dragging it from second monitor to my laptop screen, it bounces back to the laptop monitor. I even rebooted the laptop with the onboard disabled and the second monitor unplugged.

When I made my laptop screen as a secondary screen and made my second monitor as the primary. the game loads on the laptop screen then still shows its as a onboard and not the gpu.

This is the ONLY game that does this, all other rockstar games load just fine on my laptop screen and is using my gpu. even other steam games are running on my gpu and laptop screen. I dunno what else I can do at this point. please help.

I did that yesterday and thay seemed to be the fastest way to rank up.. also even if youve sampled them already, you can continue to sedate and revive because once you hit a certain number of reviver tonics used you get more XP boost too.

Depends on your personal preference. Bounty hunter makes more gold but trader makes more cash and you kinda supply the materials and go afk and cripps does the work while you can roam the map and do other things. Moonshining is fun to have a bar to hang out with friends and i thinknyou have to be trader before you can get moonshine shack. Ranking up in naturalist unlocks the fast travel wilderness camp which is helpful and you have to ranking up in collector to get the latern for your horse. So it depends on what youre after the most. Which ones unlcok more of the stuff you want first and what kind of gameplay is most fun for you

It depends on personal preference and what you like to do most or what items you may want to unlock first. Bounty hunting gives more gold, if you like slower pace then trading is great and gives good cash payout and once you supply materials you can go afk or roam the map and do other things while cripps makes the goods, moonshine shack is fun to have the bar with friends and quick easy money and also allows the cook to do most of the work. You have to first buy trader before you can get moonshiner i believe. Collector role is time consuming but you need rabk up in that to buy the latern for your horse and naturalist is kinda boring in my opinion but rabking up in that allows you to get the fast travel wilderness camp and harriet missions for legendary animals that you can kill instead to take to Gus for your garment sets

@drowsy kindle forgot to reply to you for the above and in addition each role ranking up unlocks different game advantages, clothing items, horse coats if thats a factor in deciding. I have carpal tunnel so i tey to take it easy from too many shotting missions so I started with trader. I personally like being able to just set my controller down and do laundry or whatever and come back and trader and moonshine make it easy to do that.

Theres some places you can be on the map that are quite far from a fast travel post but it also allows you to cook and craft from there too but yea i wouldnt say its the most essential but when youre trying to escape something its a quick way out

Some 3 star pelts of certsin animals yield more than other 3 stars

3 star bucks and pronghorns donate more than 3 star gators

But anything 3 star in general is better than lower quality pelts
