So eventually the support suggested that we change the Internet Network and service provider. In order to do that here is the steps just in case support are not aware

• Cancel the current subscription with the current service provider on the landline phone
• Request another service from another service provider to be installed on the same land phone
• Wait for 3 days till verification happens centrally with the government
• get another new router and buy another subscription
• Maybe if you do not to do that , apply to buy another land phone with a new number and ask for Internet service with another service provider to install their connections on it and of course Pay more and more money.

The above 5 steps are suggested through the support without telling **what is wrong with the current internet network setting nor identifying the root cause before suggesting to move to brand-new set .. **

Hello guys, i played RDR 2 on laptop with 2 displays.
IDK why, but when i choose to play RDR 2 on NVIDIA GPU, instead of integrated GPU its automatically choose secondary display which have 60 refresh rate. I want to play it on my main display which have 144 refresh rate. Is it possible to do it?
I cannot send screenshot here, but i cannot change displays, like it don't see my main display in game.

Best bet is probably the civil war battlefield, Bolger Glade. Check in the trenches and the half-broken church on repeat until you find 3 stars and use varmint rifle

There are some missions you can do but unfortunately just like every role, it needs time to get off cooldown when it comes to missions. Do some resupply missions, they help. When youre out hunting and donate pelts to Cripps, you also get some exp for each pelt 🙂

If youre playing Red Dead Online, you wont find this horse in the wild. You need to buy it. As for RDR2, it spawns as early as in chapter 2, just hover around lake Isabella to see it. If you wanna have an alternative method, you can go to Saint Denis at night and hover around the main alley around midnight (in game time) to trigger a special quest to save a couple that gets attacked. If you do save them both, you can have a black arabian for free 🙂 Hope this helps.

It's sad but you have to remember that this is a community server, not an official Rockstar server. The help you recieve comes from the players. No need to be so riled up about it. Just have some patience. Have you lost the entire progress of your game? Theres a low possibility of RDR2 of just randomly reset the entire cache etc. You have to have a cloud save of your playthrough. If you don't have the latest checkpoint saved up, then you should have the earlier checkpoint saved up automatically, cus thats how it works there. For the future tho, i recommend making manual saves just in case something goes wrong.

Well, you have to do some starting missions in order to unlock the free roam. If you already have it unlocked then youre automatically connected to the lobby where other players are playing. You gotta keep in mind that players can be scattered around the entire map and if you really wanna meet some new buds, you gotta almost stalk them, just ride around the map to figure out where the players are. Some of them can be doing missions, other ones may just be riding around the map... The highest chance for you to meet other players would be in towns like Blackwater, Tumbleweed, Valentine(care for cheaters tho, those arent always friendly), near Emerald Ranch, Strawberry, Saint Denis and Bayou swamps, near Van Horn and Rhodes. You can also try inviting people from lobby player list( press L to access that) to your posse or your moonshine shack. Hope that helps!

Once you do that, try and grind gold through blood money missions or bounties if you have a friend that has the bounty hunter license. Earn gold to buy said bounty hunter license, then use the gold you earn from bounties to get the trader role, then naturalist, then moonshiner.

Once you unlock the free roam(complete starting missions to do that), you can do whatever you want 🙂 cosplaying, riding around, chilling and enjoying the views, meeting other people or grind various missions to get money if you need some. You can also participate in free roam events and such, you can hunt or have fun with other players at the bar. There's plenty of things you can do 😄

The modders problem is there but as for your horse disappearing from under you is a bug. If a lobby is bugged then some missions may not trigger, horses or npcs ate acting up etc so it doesn't have to mean the modder is responsible for it. If youre being bullied by a cheater, just change the session. That's one of the few ways you can deal with those people. The horse disappearing bug is a common issue that many people are experiencing so you're not the only one

Did you make sure the pelt is 3 stars instead of two or 1? The price of the pelt drops with the value of the pelt e.g. if it got damaged (if you shot the fox in its body instead of its head etc)

that may explain the price drop.. To get the highest price you gotta have a clean shot to the head, any other shot counts as a miss/wound so it loses its quality. Also its important to have a proper weapon for hunting. Bolt Action Rifle, Varmint Rifle, Lancaster, and the Bow are one of the better choices here, at least im using those when i hunt

Well here's the thing:
I was using a Lancaster, like it says for normal foxes: use a repeater. Even then, for the times I didn't hit the head, the carcass/pelt never had a star rating on it. It was just the legendary Ota Fox carcass.
Now unless R* added in this mechanic, legendary animals should always fall under perfect condition. (Hell I remember I fought one of the legendary boars with a shotgun and it still didn't say the carcass was poor)

They arent in every lobby. The mistake that many players do is approach such people if they see them, asking them for chests and stuff. This annoys most of the modders that use cheats to protect themselves or keep the lobby safe from kids that are using free or cheap cheats just to troll and abuse other players. I dont know how are you getting those lobbies that youve got a cheater in every single one of those. I rarely see any cheaters in my lobbies, everything is peaceful. Most of the time i get abusive players that find it funny to harass other players.

When you're on foot you can't swing your lasso, this is only available on horseback so that's normal. When you're mounted, you can swing your lasso. When you're on foot and you right click onto the object to lasso- you can see that your character changes the stance when aiming with lasso. Still it may be a bug or a connection issue so just in case, you can try to restart your router. Sometimes it may be a lobby bug too. If it doesn't happen to you often then that's most likely it.

Besides horseback, you're going to want to level up the trader role to rank 10 and buy the hunting wagon. It still has limited space (5 large pelts/carcasses, or 10 medium carcasses), but gives you more flexibility for storage while hunting. Added benefit is the cargo is saved if you disconnect or the wagon gets destroyed - it'll all be there next time you summon it.

First time tbh, also after a while it works normally but at the start its usually like that

A good start is to do all of the story missions with mr Horley. Then after youre done, you can start doing some side quests and earn money from various missions until you have enough resources to buy your first role contract (most of the time a bounty hunter role is the best one to start if you like shooting and catching people). To unlock those, you gotta go to specific locations for your first mission. Naturalist - Strawberry, Bounty Hunter- Rhodes, etc

Oh also, when you do those missions, youll be able to get your first kentucky saddler (you can choose the color of the horse, there are 4 of them). When you earn 250$, you can buy yourelf a red chesnut arabian, or earn 500$ for a mustang 🙂 Those are very good horses for starters

like i pause the game or i stop to hold W to walk and it pauses 10 secs later and arthur/john stops also a bit later

Does Xbox have the equivalent of the MTU settings option PS has? Setting the latency or whatever low enough to still load the game but have a mostly solo lobby will make ambient encounters much more frequent, and legendary animals spawn once every hour +/- if you're the only one in a session. If you can figure out xbox's version of that gimmick, just bomb around the road south of Colter, maybe session hop a little with legendary pheromones active, and it should appear.

Amazing questions, I don't know if I've ever looked into either mechanic that deeply.

I only know that each time you leave an activity (legendary bounty or call to arms or smth) and sometimes get your own session before merging with another, even if you're with a posse, the leg animals spawn like crazy. Figure out how to temporarily solo-session on Xbox and you'll get it.

i haven’t used a steam deck in years so this fix could be outdated, but what worked for me when this happened was to enable the bleeding edge beta for proton experimental. Just search proton expermental within steam store, go into it and click on the settings cog then properties, then Betas and select bleeding edge then when you go back it should be installing it, then go back to rdr2, select proton expermental in the compatibility menu and you should be good to go if its not outdated

Go to change the API under Advanced Graphic Settings. E.g. if it has been crashing with Vulkan, change it to DirectX 12. Same goes to the other way around. HOWEVER, before doing it: make sure to uninstall OneDrive or any other online storage service on your PC. It takes over files from your local storage and it usually affects how they work. So disable it and even uninstall it.

Then delete the “Red Dead Redemption 2” folder under the Documents. Launch the game, accept any prompted window and finally change the API on Advanced Graphic Settings. Guys, i was casually playing rdr2 last night. My game was perfectly smooth on ultra settings with no problems with stutters and fps drops. Today, i decided to come onto rdr2 and it started lagging really hard. Meaning, my fps was peaking 15 max. Ive tried to change my settings and nothing seems to resolve the problem. Has any other person in this server had this issue and have they fixed it?

I had this happen to me a few years ago. I usually shut down my router for a few minutes and turned it back on and if that didnt work i swapped servers and changed my graphic settings and etc.

My goal is to get level 50 as quickly as possible. Today is the last day to purchase the collector role at a discounted price, and I believe next month is a bounty hunter role focus. Will it be better to buy the collector role at a discounted price today and do that, or should I buy bounty hunter tomorrow and try to focus on that to level to 50?

I believe the event starts tomorrow so I’m running out of time to make the purchase for a collector if that’s the route that’s best.

The collector role gets you a lot of money, but the bounty role is more fun. If it was me personally I would do the bounty role

I don't agree with that, because you can ride a wild horse with no saddle but it prob has something to do with needing to have a place for guns and etc.

Depends, are you on story mode or online? Online mode doesn't allow you to have wild horses but you can ride them bare back for a bit of time

there is an active horse setting for free roam, races, and missions. sounds like you might have the wrong horse set as active for the "missions" category.

theyre roles. you can have them all and do all in them in free roam. its not like you have one and the other goes away
