I’m level 1 rn and it’s so hard to level it up

I dont know how to level it up efficiently

I’ve been looking by maps individually but it takes so much time for just a few bucks

Considering DLSS simply updates the graphics of a game I imagine you will be fine.

However, I would have thought better graphics would come from a better graphics card, not a better file.

Consider switching your current DLSS settings to Quality before you attempt to update it.

There are plenty of dedicated guides on YouTube, but my personal advice would be to get in the habit of doing two things:

Buy a map, mark a location then travel there while in cinematic camera. Tap your "horse go faster button" and it will take you there. Go grab a snack or something. Rinse and repeat.

Get in the habit of checking your surroundings. Use eagle eye often. Collectibles are commonly in a house, or beside a particular tree. I believe they switch positions (good song) every 24 hours and there are three possible locations.

BUT if you collect enough, you will notice a pattern and from there you probably won't even need a map to remember them.

TLDR; play the role more casually or dedicate time to a few guides. Collector requires you to almost guess where the item may be and that is a skill you can only learn with playtime.

Open the map after completing a mission. You may find one is really close.

Collectibles also like to spawn in clusters. Once you unlock Metal detector you will find more, so have a wide search area.

Oh yeah, when you rank up the search becomes more narrow, too.

Unrelated, but 2-Factor Authorization has been known to take up to 2 days before registering with the game and gifting rewards... So there may be a glimmer of hope for you.

It will likely be the stance you have adopted. Go to your online options and look for something like "walking stance"

Also I have noticed my character looking around randomly. I believe it has something to do with your waypoint or something in progress. Maybe it's a collector's thing.

Some gold achievements can be "reset" for 0.4 gold bars each. Check your progress for achievements.

Complete the Story Missions for a considerable amount of money and gold. Worth completing inbetween Blood Money missions.

Daily challenges will net you at least 1 gold a day, Google is your friend.

As you level up, treasure maps are unlocked that will net you 0.5-1.5 gold bars each. Check your satchel documents.

Of the roles, bounty hunter is the quickest for gold.

Blood Money can be a good way for earning gold before you are able to afford a role. Look out for the letter telling you to meet in Saint Denis. Find the Capitale locations online.

Nope, I read the letter and got nothing. When I read it again nothing happens. Also don't have the option to buy the table.

If I remember correctly, it will not start a mission. But a gold area will appear on your map, similar to the other Roles that you can approach and watch a ctuscene.

For me I read the letter at Emerald Ranch and travelled down to St Denis, just outside the Butchers'

"I opened the letter at Valentine and the marker wouldn't show up no matter how many times I looked at it. so I decided to head back to camp... Armadillo is the closest town to my camp, and the marker just suddenly appeared as soon as I got there, so I think when it says "go to the general store", it means the one closest to your camp, otherwise it seems not to show up."

You may want to restart your game, then try a generic location and see what you find.

In the main menu, go to Online, then select Free Roam again. This takes you to a new session, at least on PC. (I do it frequently when the hackers get too annoying. I'm not interested in wearing a hacker as a backpack, thankyouverymuch. 😂)

Yeah, they post themselves up at a location where newbie's would come by (e.g., for a delivery mission), then just kill you over and over again. As a fellow noob (level 23), I think it's best to press charges (i.e., increase their bounty a bit), and then change servers.

You can also parlay, which should make them unable to damage you, but that only works against non-hacker trolls.

I would argue the Collector is the most profitable. Use the Jean Ropke map and you'll be dripping in cash.

That doesn't make sense. There might be a slight delay before the other two missions appear, but the mission he played should either be available through Progress or show up on his map where he started it the first time.

Unless you two were in a posse. Then the missions would only show on the map for the posse leader.

well i tried deleting the rockstar games launcher and it says its deleted. i went and downloaded it back and when i hit the installer it just says "Close Rockstar app before running this program" so i went to task manager (couldnt find rockstar) so i went into command prompt typing "tasklist > taskkill /f /im RockstarGames. then nothing happened, another thing is that i couldnt find anything rockstar related on the task list either. so i restarted my pc and then tried to run the new installer and it still says i need to close the launcher even though i deleted it. i need help here, this is crazy.

i thought i knew how pcs work but now im wondering if i should just throw all this away and call it quits. maybe go play some nintendo 3ds or go play at a park.

Hey has anyone else ever experienced this stable glitch. As I go into a stable it acts like normal but then it fazes to my character inside the stable running into the horse and glitching out. I can’t leave the stable or do anything and I don’t know what to do. It happens at all stables so I can’t use any of them. I have a ps4 and am not sure how to fix it. Collector is good for small xp of 150 every card you pick up.
And 1,500xp for every collectable set you turn in to Madam Nazar.

@bold thicket in need of help. i downloaded the game via the steam store and the game wont load. if i launch through steam it processes for about 20 seconds then sayings quitting, if i go through the launcher and hit start the same thing happens but within 5 seconds. the game itself will pop up on my task bar for no more than 1 second before it disappears, and is not running on taskbar menu. ive searched online for ways around but i havent found any that work yet.

Hello, When I play RDR2 for ten minutes, either the game closes by itself, or an unknow error: FFFFFF window appears and my game no longer responds. My game is on the rockstar game launcher. I have already tried to unplug/replug my headset when launching the game, change Vulkan to direct x 12 in game, or even modify the properties of RDR2.exe to run it as administrator/without full screen optimizations, and even reset my computer but nothing changes... I have even already contacted the rockstar chat who asked me for a whole bunch of diagnostics which were inconclusive to the point where the advisor got fed up and asked me to launch on a long diagnosis of 4 hours (Windows memory diagnosis) for after 2 hours where I could not respond because of the diagnosis took the opportunity to close the chat...
I really tried everything, everything you see on the internet, reset my PC, go back to Windows 10, update my bios, uninstall/reinstall my graphics drivers but nothing changed...
(I have a 7900xt with a 13600kf + 32gb ram corsair).

If anyone knows where this comes from/has a solution I would be very grateful.

Decided to install again..and in 1920X1080 the game gets to 6fps, totally lagging, and unplayable. You can’t fully supply yourself on just the materials from the resupply missions. They’re just a small boost.

You are right, collector has around $500 for a complete card set (tarot swords for example should go for around this price). Bounty hunter has one easy bounty which offers max reward (I think it's 300-400) for 30 minutes. From which there is just 5 minutes of some actual work (after memorizing what to do) and having a bounty hounter wagon to chill in it afterwards.

When youre aiming your lasso, make sure that the aim is glowing red when you do so. If it's gray- it means you can't lasso that person. Sometimes it's bugged so if a target is on a ground- make sure that it's not alrerady hogtied. Sometimes it can bug so it's best to check that 😉

Yes, you will find it in one of the stables, on owned horses. You just have to pay for it's treatment, not much tho.

You do daily challenges, role missions, etc. Story missions do give you some too. You can participate in free roaming events to get gold too 🙂

If you bought horse insurance, your horse will automatically respawn (but you gotta wait a bit before calling it). If you have horse reviver bought in the shop, you can revive it on the spot when its critically injured 🙂 If youre near the stables, you can just go there and retrieve your horse there

You can do whatever you want. Side quests, just ride around and chill with other players, do role missions, blood money, random encounters, participate in various events such as races, animal photography etc, roleplaying even, or be a douche and attack people for fun(but be ready for consequences)

Why sometimes the improved campfire allows me to cook VERY fast and other times moderately fast?
And also, why can't I ride or run with the dead eye active today, having already unlocked and learned the Eagly Eye+? Yesterday I was able to use it that way, and not today.

Red dead online is fairly buggy.
For the campfire certain foods or crafts take longer than others
The running with the deadye isn’t possible
Running with eagle eye needs a certain perk from a role (can’t remember which I think bounty hunter)
If you have said perk and it doesn’t work it’s most likely a bug. Try restarting your console.

I know that some recipes are faster than others, it is not the same time from cooking meat to making an arrow, but sometimes when cooking meat, it takes half a second to cook, and when I cook that same meat again, it takes the normal time the improved campfire.

From the little I have played, the daily missions are some very quick or simple and they pay you with 20 gold nuggets, also for variety, jobs from the NPCs or the maps they give you, almost always an ingot and XP.
