Hi has anyone had a fix for the issue of running RDO from epic games, rockstar launcher opening for a few seconds and then quitting. Ive played for hundreds of hours and now it wont open.. Tried reinstall, display drivers, reinstall c++ redist, deleting profiles / settings etc, reinstalling rockstar launcher.. even turned the computer off and back on again! Sorry had to read back for your question. Your error (0x50060198) has to do with connection. Most likely your wifi (or router) failed, or can't connect to Rdr2 services. Fully reset your router and try to reconnect.

Then you either need to change the DNS settings on your console, or get a whole new router. These are the only 2 alternatives im afraid.

And naturalist is only good for the extra 10 tonics and the legendary animals for trader but you gotta do a boring grind like hell to get level 5 naturalist

Do animal samples come under valuables?

Yes you need the thing at rank 16(I think)collector to carry more animal samples

Then you gotta level moonshiner or collector ye

Collector you can max in like 4h

A fast farm I found was go to emerald ranch kill sheep and cows and then go to Lagras for alligators and rinse and repeat

So there in valuables and stupid ass naturalist lied to me

Also is there a way to get the dumbass gators out of the water

Like 90% of them are in there

I just if I find them on the shore I go in between the gator and the water

And they won’t go in the water most of the time

It's not that they run in

It's the ones that spawn there

It will be fast if I can get them out won't take so long to get a sample

As most the time getting a sample is trying to find a gator on land

You can push onto shore with your character

But it’s harder to shoot them while their in water

Yea i found that out it took a good 14mins one time to tranq one in water

And even tho I have been doing this for awhile I still keep standing in front of them while shooting

I have an easy time finding them if you keep going along the shore that Harriet is on
