I had that happen to me a long time ago but went off, you could try spamming run button with eagle eye button, usually busts it even more and fixes it

If I need to grind any money, I do a legendary bounty, tell cripps and frenchman to go to work, then do a naturalist leg for cripps then collector until the legendary cooldown is done to do it then go to cripps to tell him to go to work again then do a moonshiner

and I just repeat the process until cripps is done with trader to do a short delivery then repeat the process again
