I say this as someone who has seen this exact song and dance with Valve and TF2

the only games that can justify "forever" updates are those that charge monthly, in my opinion

This is the exact point I've been making to others as well. I never said they should be allocated evenly because that makes no sense from a business perspective. The argument from many RDO fans is that Take Two/Rockstar is capable of putting a reasonable amount of resources into RDO's development -- enough to allow for semi-frequent updates like we used to get -- but they're unwilling to because apparently they don't believe it's worth the effort at this time.

The whole point of the fanbase bringing this up is to attempt to show Rockstar that there is a large playerbase that cares for the game and wants to see updates.
Ultimately, that fanbase can translate to more cash being pulled in, so if enough people can convince Take Two/Rockstar that the game is worth updating, they'll do it.

I just spam the "hit" button while riding so whenever they struggle, they just immediately get knocked out. Reinforced lassos have helped as well. It gives more time to notice them struggling to escape before they actually do so you can hit them without spamming the button

Just keep grinding the trader. Medium will give you 500xp and large will give 1000xp

I recommend doing the supply missions instead of just buying the supplies. This will also give you xp
