I've noticed recently that my character has a pencil on his ear. Whatever mechanic creates it is funny, because it kind of floats around roughly where his ear is, frequently just passing into and out of the guys skull. Collecting is cool because you'll find a lot of stuff just doing other things. As mentioned before, it's Really boring if you're looting the whole map. Naturalist is slow too. It's great once you get to rank 5 for legendary carcasses to donate to trader. But the main reason naturalist is worthwhile to me is the wilderness camp; it's always $1 to fast travel to your main camp from anywhere

That mechanic is one of those things that makes sense on paper, but in practice becomes really annoying. They wanted to increase rewards fo people who put more time into an activity. Except we are gamerswho look for the easiest way to game the system. So people just hold bounties in from of the sherrif for 12 minutes

I don't free aim. I maxed out aim assist and live with the annoyance of having to manually pull it away from the wrong targets. I accidentally shot a player riding past a camp defensive mission this morning... So probably best not to do that.
If you use the scope, it's always free aim though. I only use it when things are out of range.

You have to free aim legendary animals. I've never killed a bounty target before. I'm greedy that way.

I guess it depends on the bounty. Like for the one in the swamp mansion. I circle around the outside of the location and pick them off. Then charge the mansion. Same with the bear guy. The one in the caves is a pain, but I do the same there too.

Just had the game randomly start up a mission where I had to rescue a buyer for my moonshine business, I go to the spot, kill the enemies and then let the guy out of his cage, but then his AI shat out and he just stood there until the time wore out and listed him as not saved, so now I can't make a moonshine sale for 2 damn hours

L3 calms the horse down or you can use the slow n steady ability card and activate it around a hostile animal and your horse won’t buck you off

- Do all your naturalist daily role challenges
- Farm xp by going to Emerald Ranch farm, Valentine & Flatneck Station (pig enclosure) and taking as many samples of each farmland animal there. Then go to Harriet and sell them. Rinse and repeat. Once you reach rank 5 and up, you can do the poacher missions and the legendary animal missions.
It seems like a grind but I reached max rank in a matter of days grinding like this.

and then beat the online campaign, u will get a 5 gold bars discount if u beat the last mission so with that and the 2 step thingy the bounty hunter role will be free for u
and then u can start making gold
and dont forget to do as many daily challenges as u can and maintain the multiplier
