When i hold X to accelerate on a train, 2 minutes in i get a message that after 13 minutes i will be kicked due to inactivity.

I go do other stuff when i have to wait and check in on my game with the PS remote play app.

How accurate is that timer though? Is it like GTA or does it actually count properly? GTA will say you'll be kicked in 13 minutes due to inactivity, and then 4 minutes later you're kicked.

Never had that issue on GTAO. The timers are very accurate for me.

And since i regularly move my POV with PS remote play RDO does not have a chance to kick me at all so i wouldn't know.

Joining in on activities here will help quite a bit. Trade runs, Call to Arms, Bounty Hunter, all great sources of xp without having to spend the gold for the roles

Collector is a great passive xp gain as well, usually at least 100xp per collectible

I recommend Tobin Winfield, He gives around 200 if done correctly and in one try.

Also, If you wait in the beginning for 15-30 minutes, you get an extra 30-50 bucks.

If you are using the maps from nazar it shows you three locations of several that you can go to. You can also look up the collectors rdo map online and it shows you every collector item. It usually resets every day with other item rotations but for the most part you should still be able to complete a card set or bottle set I believe.

Depending on the item you will need the metal detector to let you dig first.
