With Slippery Bastard, your accuracy is going to be awful anyway, so the accuracy aspect doesn't matter much. And range? Forget about that.
Why wouldn't one take advantage of the higher rate of fire that the Semi-Auto offers, then, in this scenario? Sure, you deal more damage per shot with a Double-Barrel, but ultimately that higher rate of fire you get with Semi-Auto will give you a higher damage output.

I'll re-word that: The accuracy nerf that comes with Slip isn't going to have any more of an adverse effect on the Semi-Auto than it will on the Double-Barrel, even given that the former is less accurate in its default state. So there's no reason to not take the higher rate of fire.

You ultimately kill faster, and for those with super tanky builds who don't die in one or two shots, you get more damage in on them in a shorter amount of time.

It isn't like you'll be shooting incredibly more shots -- it's a shotgun, after all. And I'm willing to spend that tiny bit of extra money on ammo if it means higher efficiency in PvP.

pelts depend mainly on gun and where you hit the animal

bolt action rifle is a safe bet for most medium to large size animals up until you unlock the caracano rifle

Tbh, the whole save RDO is dumb. Game was released in 2018. They might have been already working on a major update but Covid happened shortly at the end of 2019. This may have caused internal delays. We’re in 2022. I got a good feeling, the major update will come soon enough. Remember that it takes a while to create a major dlc, record dialogues etc.. even more if they work remotely. But yeah rockstar silence is wack.
