@zenith aspen many players don't enjoy collector but it is a good role of your starting out because of the money, getting to know the map and also the spawns of random happenings like hide outs, ambushes and whatever else but also because of xp. A couple days doing collectory and you'll rank up way faster than partaking in pvp. But you need a shovel and metal detector if you wanna get the good stuff. Otherwise just stick to collclecting tarot cards

@zenith aspen up to you but i would say don't trouble yourself with free aim until later on. It's tiny amount of xp. Just trampling animals and ahooting birds in the sky will get you more xp with zero effort than free aim right now

@flat dock best thing is use slow and steady ability card and engage it. Shoot the wolves which come at you before you seek out wolfman. Don't bother with getting off horse to look for eagle eye clues. Then get into the water at the lake and shoot the wolves that come at you and even the bear. Then find wolfman and be sure to keep watch for wolves because he calls for them to keep coming

What I would do before I got a wagon was take two bounties alive, one dead, and let the rest escape. I'd stow one bounty on my horse, one on a random horse, then ride the random horse and lasso-drag the dead bounty while my horse followed.

When you arrive at the saloon, don't immediately start shooting the place up. Stand at the bar and wait for the main guy to break from the rest of the group; from my experience, he either goes to smoke a cigarette or have a drink. That's your cue to neutralize him and get the clue that he keeps on his body.

Do that quickly, and you won't have to worry about too many bullets flying in your face before you're up and out of there.

Here's a tip that's so obscure I'm willing to reshare it, if you play on mouse and keyboard, go into the contoller setting and turn the two aim-lock on settings to free aim. It changes nothing about how mouse aiming works and gives you an additional 20 xp for every kill

I met this guy the other day in a story mission, he made it his MISSION to abuse his horse as much as possible

Any time he'd dismount, he'd punch it in the face

When the mission eas over he unloaded his entire 12 rounds into the horse

Also, in rdr1 if you shot someone's leg, they'd limp, shoot both, they be stuck kneeling on the ground until they bleed out

Cronus is a usb plug in that losers use to try win at PvP and to grief. People buy scripts and shit for it so they get auto lock and headshots, shoot through walls etc

If you’re fast and able to aim quick you can beat Cronus with skill, people are just so fkn lazy

Plus people use the bugs in the game to shoot through walls. Also never accept a CvC at emerald ranch, it’s Cronus heaven for headshots and you’ll get clipped. PvP in this game is so fucking broken, it’s what started my dislike for the game and now it’s purely boredom.
