You can purchase the Trader role at Wilderness Outfitters at your camp for 15 gold bars.
This is the same place you go to purchase larger wagons once you gain enough Trader XP.

Free roam missions, Blood Money missions, daily challenges, treasure maps. Pretty sure the optimal gold pay for free roam/Blood Money matches Bounty Hunter, so when you start either of those, set a timer on your phone for 12 minutes and don't finish the mission until you reach the end of the timer -- that'll earn you the most gold per hour.

#

Rinse and repeat until you have enough gold for Bounty Hunter, and then you can grind bounties for gold using the same 12-minute rule.

if you get those 3 you should be good until ur level 25, when you can use that saved money to buy 2 navy revolvers, or get 1 from the gta online questline, and buy 1 of them

if you get into hunting, get a bolt action or a springfield, a springfield is the better of the 2 for hunting but a bolt action is a great all round gun

then when ur level 50 get a carcano with a short scope

On second thought, there may be better horses available to you. Look under the "Multi" section and see what you can buy -- pretty much all of them are great horses.

I just automatically recommend the red Arabian to newer players because it's generally a good starter horse.

Well there's only patting, brushing, feeding, and riding it. Not much else aside from those that I can think of.

I think after bonding level 2 you gain the ability to press G every 10 seconds or so, should help with the bonding.

You can lead it, which increases bonding very quickly. I think I've heard that you can go to level 4 after about 30 minutes of leading, but I've never tried that.
