Level up by killing random stuff or completing almost anything.

Doing a large trader gives a good amount of experience.

Call to arms gives 2,000 every completion I think, plus the kills you get.

Make sure you're on free aim mode to get the +20 free aim experience.

u get some "story" missions, some freeroam missions and the moonshining making per se. its good money once its all set up. but its costs like 1.7k to make it a good money maker

and yeah 25 gold.... only buy it after you have better roles. Oh and you get some challenges that give out gold but most of them are not worth it imo. you have to spend a bunch on money to have a bar and band

I’d say using the posse up option in the opening menu is the best option it’ll spawn you into a random open posse and they’re usually doing side missions and bounties for easy cash

I'm going to assume you know that with the amount of enemies surrounding you during the later waves, it's next to impossible to accomplish a task like that -- you're going to get shot a lot, so healing/defense cards will greatly improve your chances of survival

So I will suggest my own CTA build

Quite an Inspiration, Strange Medicine, Eye for an Eye, [Insert any card of preference]

Quite an Inspiration for constant passive healing to yourself and your teammates, Eye for an Eye to ensure that you will rarely run out of Deadeye so long as you consistently get headshots, and Strange Medicine for bulk healing for extra protection

And use whatever works for you. Im only making suggestions based on what works for me.

The last card should be healing/defense -- Iron Lung, Fool Me Once, and Cold Blooded work best -- but realistically you can drop whatever you want here because the aforementioned three cards should be enough to cover you, as long as you play your cards right.

What are damage cards doing really? NPCs aren't hard to kill, so the only guy you're really stacking up against is the juggernaut, who isn't all that annoying anyway.

Really just depends on how you play. I choose focus fire for the armored guys sure but it also helps me see for sniping long distances and sniping gunners out of wagons. Damage cards will help anyone who doesn’t consistently get headshots as well. Im assuming you’ve noticed the npcs get buffed health the further into the rounds you go, so yes they do get harder to kill

I don’t lose much health at all when I play, and when I do the strange medicine card is all I really need

Even buffed, all but the sniper and juggernaut die to headshots; it would benefit a player in the long run to learn how to headshot consistently because that's what's going to get them through all ten waves in the smoothest possible fashion.
Focus Fire isn't a useless card, like you said, but I'm saying it shouldn't be prioritized. If you're playing with someone else who has Quite an Inspiration equipped already, THAT would be a good time to equip Focus Fire since the passive team healing is already being covered by your teammate.

I mean even if you can't aim well, I'd still equip Paint it Black in place of FF for CTA. It allows for quicker kills and thus less damage inflicted on yourself.

Albeit more expensive on your Deadeye.

Like I said it really depends on the person. There’s not one best way to play. For me the health cards would be inefficient, and dead eye replenish cards are inefficient for me as well as I only use the dead eye for certain enemies and helping me to see. But im glad you found something that works too

Sidearms lose hardly any accuracy when dual-wielding, and using Gunslinger's Choice or Paint it Black negates the loss in accuracy anyway.

Which ultimately means a much higher damage output vs a single sidearm. It isn't hard to figure 1 + 1 = double the damage.

can i ask for some help? everytime i want to connect to rdo i keep getting kicked out with the error of 0x10023000 and i dont know why that keeps happening

is it a case of rockstar saying 0xmyserversaredownfuckyou or is it something wrong with my wifi or device?

i saw some steam threads saying that it's rockstar's anti fraud system that most of the time kicks out innocent players more than cheaters, but im on console so im not sure how im supposed to hack or pirate the game on there, and its kinda not surprising that the anti fraud is screwed because everything in rdo is screwed
