Once you found and killed him, you'd get a hatchet, and you then had to go kill a bunch of people with it (50 I think), NPCs or players, and doing so would unlock a revolver in RDO (same platform only, so PC to PC, Xbox to Xbox, etc.)

No clue if the serial killer thing is still in GTA or if it was time-limited.

In GTA it's the Navy Revolver, in RDO it's... Lowry's I think?

To me its very rewarding. The grind is slow at the start, but when you get the base three roles everything you do brings in rewards. Exploration is arguably more important than in the single player if you have the collector role, as you'll go to areas mostly ignored in the single player
Interactions with players are often very good also, and that brings a lot of interesting moments.
The combat is also more fun than the single player, though I wish it was slowed down a bit to be put more in line with story mode

Yes, but getting 100% in the singleplayer is a very particular experience for a small group. Collecting in Online is a consistent source of money
The singleplayer is the better game, but there are really enjoyable parts of online

What does naturalist even do besides "Oh don't kill the animals! Save them instead!"?

You get a sample kit that lets you collect samples from every animal in the game, which you can turn in to Harriet for money and XP. It also unlocks Gus, who is a trader, that you can take legendary animal pelts to for special garments (unlocks the garment, you'd still need to buy it for several hundred).

You can also do a set rotation of legendary animal missions that throws you into an instance by yourself, allowing you to kill or sedate them. Those are good for the Trader role, because you can buy the hunting wagon, store the legendary pelts (which don't disappear when you log off), and turn them in to Cripps as they give a lot of materials.

Any horse can be good and the difference in speed is very little. A horse with maxed and a horse with 6 will only have a few second difference in when they arrive at places

Bc I got my horse killed my assholes several times and I dont have horse insurance and I always get yokomi back after I go to the stables, did I glitch the game and I have horse insurance without paying or is there more to horse insurance that I'm missing?

I don't kill people but I like to be annoying for example when I'm walking by someone off their horse I tell their horse to flee, and when I'm feeling bored i like to walk up to someone, hogtied them, then run as fast as i can before they escape and kill me.
