Sensitivity is 100% up to you. But to get a general feel for PvP combat, I’d say yeah. Do some shootout stuff online

Tonics are great to have on hand, though they are not always available as they are consumables and can become very costly

So if you’re looking to level up a little faster, that may be worth it.

You need the detector for a lot of the jewelry too, and arrowheads, so I'd grab it anyway. Fossils are random though, you could get 5 of one and then go a week without getting the last one you need.

They don't have set spawns like alcohol, heirlooms or cards.

You'll also need to the shovel to dig up what the metal detector finds, so keep that in mind if you don't have the money yet.

Roads are nice too, haven't lost a single bottle in a couple dozen sells since I moved from Grizzlies to the Bayou.

If you open pause menu > progress > awards, you'll find a bunch of progress stuff. You know how when you ride a certain distance with your horse or something, it'll say "50 out of 50 miles ridden on horseback" or something?

That's the award stuff. Some of them can be reset for gold.

Go into those menus and there will be a sub menu for trade. There should be one for "money spent at shops". At the bottom, if you've spent over $1000, there should be a thing prompting you to reset it by pressing space. You'll keep the buckle and get 0.4 gold.

I’m confused as to how horse bravery and skittishness works. I hear a good number of people saying that their horses are easily spooked and there seems to be a lot of contradictions in it. Very seldom do I get bucked off and when I do, it’s because I didn’t calm the horse down. Has anyone ever actually looked into how that particular game mechanic works? I know for a fact that when a horse starts to act up, you’re supposed to hold the calm button, as pressing it repeatedly is less effective than holding it.

Horse bravery is very random. And it doesn't matter what breed you purchase ! My most brave horse is a black arabian. The only time he ever throws me is cougars. Bears, wolves, gators, etc he is absolutely amazing around.

Long distance deliveries and hunting in free aim. Turn off target lock and it nets you an extra 20 xp points per kill. Long distance deliveries go for like 2,500 xp upon a successful run. And have Marcel cook up some moonshine in the background whenever you aren’t hunting or doing trader things.

Griefers may look like rats.

For the ones with attitude, a bolt action or Lancaster work wonders. These are “generalist” weapons though and truthfully whatever weapons you’re proficient and familiar with using are highly effective more often than not

If shit gets real bad, use E rounds and incendiary buckshot work wonders. It may break the Geneva convention, but it’s the good lord’s will to rid the red dead online world of these miscreants. Godspeed my dude.

Yes. I was in an infinite loading screen, friend took the wagon and told me once he had turned in, I ALT+F4'd and loaded back in, and my XP and money had increased.

It's a stupid bug but at least it's not a 'bad' one in that sense.

It does not increase production speed. The point of larger wagons is to have the ability to do larger deliveries, which result in higher payouts.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but you get more money from delivering one full medium wagon than you would get from delivering two full small wagons. The numbers aren't linear, and as such, larger wagons are well worth the investment.

The best way to make dollars is to stay on top of your Trader/Moonshiner roles. Running Bootlegger missions are quick and help with profits. You can use Naturalist role to go on Legendary Animal missions and kill/skin the animal instead, and you can take that pelt to your Cripps Trading Co. and it's usually worth like 50-60 trade goods. Barring that doing Infamous/5-Star Legendary Bounties and running down the timer on them can net a fair amount of $RDO.

Yep, got up to medium wagon, and have starter moonshine shack setup which is usually what I work on for cash. Never can seem to save up enough to upgrade either with all the other stuff coming up, still haven't got shovel/detector to even use all my treasure maps that keep piling up.

I like it, you get to craft a bit but also get to shoot at the tax collectors trying to stop you at roadblocks or delivery points. Also random spots for rival moonshiners you can shoot up, or the story missions that come with it.

Moonshine is mostly passive. You pay for mash which takes 26-48 minutes to become moonshine depending on the strength of moonshine you choose (weak, medium, strong.) You can run bootlegger missions every 15 minutes which lower the price of mash by $20 on mission success or $10 for a botched mission. You can get the mash price down to $10 in between batches so if you time it right you can be in a passive moonshiner loop and make some good money.

Do $$$ bounties while you wait for your traders/moonshiner to be ready, or go collecting. Or whatever ya'll think is fun. 🙂
