It’s random and encounters are less likely to trigger if there are more people in a session, and Murphy’s law plays a hand in the sense that if you rummage around intentionally to trigger one, it will never trigger.

Yeah back in the day I’ve literally hunted for a dog encounter for 3 hours in a solo session with nothing while some ppl got one as soon as they FT to tumbleweed in a full public session. Shit’s just dumb luck lol.

Fastest way of lowering your honor is tranqing an animal, sampling it, then killing it.

Another way that doesn’t involve racking up bounties is turning in 6-men bounties all dead.

no, it's the same, rockstar only make it so that it is able to play on next-gen but they have not change anything about performance for next gen so if you are playing on ps5 you will get experience of ps4

I think willmen is alluding to the next gen upgrade. I still doubt that it’ll be 60fps. Knowing Rockstar’s philosophy with red dead, I think they’d rather focus on locked 4k 30 with possibly more eye candy on both platforms.

i recommend starting out with bounty hunter so you can make gold and afford other roles

#

collector is really good for getting xp if leveling up quick is important for you

#

and its also very good for money

In the case of a Trader, it's a lot of 'Hijack the Wagon!' or 'Deposit the supplies!'
It can get a bit repetitive sometimes

With the $5 standalone a lot of ppl start the game in a 4 stack posse and the first thing they do is looking for other ppl to gank. And when they think I’d be an ez prey in a 4v1 I fuck them good with everything I’ve got. They parlay, cry hax, block, and change sessions. It’s nice to see new blood but at the same time these assholes just piss me off.

@rocky abyss I mean me and 3 of my other guys faced off against people who were 300+ levels and I was only a 101 and my 3 others were low numbers. As in below 0 and we made the 300+ levels parley. We never used incendiary or explosive ammo. Just express, Slugs, and High Velocity.

They kill you in defense and they're no longer in defensive. unless they pull some shittery to make you hostile first.

This is what happened.

I was delivering a wagon with my friends. Posse attacked us. We fought them off. They continued to grief us after the wagon was delivered. We changed lobbies. They followed us. We sat at the campfire so they couldn't attack us. They lassoed me out. Another posse leader, not related to that posse, came over and started attacking us but he was in defensive mode. We weren't able to shoot him the entire time he was killing us. I even tried with explosive rounds.

Lassos have a history of being fucky when it comes to things they shouldn't be able to grab. My favorite is when it works in posses with friendly fire off. I usually drag my friends behind a train for hours.
