a few missions in online have an option for you to be stealthy or better to be stealthy a bow would be a really good tool for that

roles are best way to make money

gold can be obtain by doing daily challenges, stranger missions, pvp matches

Finish the story missions in online if you haven't they do give quite a bit of good amount of starter money/gold

after that you buy bounty hunter license it's the only role that gives gold, essentially an upgraded stranger mission, the longer you takes the more payout you get

and then buy collector to get a lot of money in minimal efforts

Slow and steady ability saves you a few headshot, while active, you can’t die from headshot, but will still die from shot

So watch out for throwable and explosion bullet, it bounce you down while active

i calculated over a 12 hour period if you did nothing but shootouts and won every round (0.16 gold) you'd get 14.52 gold, the 14.52 gold is i think still a fine number because you get more gold for special edition i think it was? if im wrong then its not that much of a trustworthy number
but then assuming you got max payout for every bounty (0.48 gold) which needs to be every 30 minutes 0.48 gold every 30 minutes in a 12 hour period is 11.52 gold, but this is not factoring in the new bounty trading system where if you get 10,000 bh XP you trade for 0.5 gold and that happens shorter than you think meaning this number should be like 13.02 or something more
so bounty hunting and shootouts are really the only ways to get gold anymore i tried thinking of anything else but i couldnt, dailies are just sad now so no and theres this thing i know people do where they piss off the law in saint denis go on a rooftop and wait 2 hours and trade the crime award for wanted level for 2 hours and get 0.4 gold but that amount of gold over a 12 hour period is pathetic too, so no
i guess dailies can still be an ok way of getting gold?? just really not as productive anymore
