You can have every role available. On your map, there should be symbols for those roles. For instance, if you want to become a bounty hunter, go to the sheriffs office in Rhodes. There will be a short cutscene, and then you have to pay 15 gold for the license. Moonshine and Naturalist cost 25 gold, Bounty Hunter and Collector cost 15, and so does trader. Trader you can buy from cripps at the wilderness outfitters @violet plover
