There's a moonshine perk that gives you an extra buyer or whatever, I find I always have a buyer for my moonshine. I've not had to use Burt in months.
You look at your buyer list, if you can make your shine before the buyers change then you can see what to flavor it is
If your shine finishes after, then wait until after it changes to add a flavor.
You can flavor it even when you're 19/20 bottles

It's not like there's a ton of different buyers. Maybe a handful get rotated out. I've not paid attention a whole lot too it as like I said, with that perk I've never not had the specific buyer for it be unavailable.

They're sort of a bridge-way to gain XP.
While you do them, make sure to sedate and sample the caged animals, free XP and money.

@rotund finch if you have Collector go for some of the collections... use one of the maps like Jeanpoke github which I am sure someone can post the link to... I should be able to if it is allowed... the collections are decent money to get you going...then buy the wagon for the trader and the trader missions get to be pretty lucrative. Just keep building and building and keep doing the daily challenges to get gold to get the other roles. If you get on a nice streak you get a decent amount for each challenge... also do the free roam events that pop up like Master Archer and fishing... do all that you get invites to since even if you don't place you get a little gold still.

The dog will find you wherever you are and bark at you to warn you of the bandits... then you have an option to fast travel back to camp and stop the raid from the NPCs. I truly wish we could take the dogs hunting with us and have them retrieve our quarry... esp when hunting birds.

@marsh dirge same here, I never encountered any lagendary animals, except for mission ones. They won't come out even if you use pheromones.
And after the 2 hide out I cleared at the beginning for my online game. Never found another. Also 0 random encounter.

If you throw the lasso at someone on a wagon, then you'll have a chance of roping them by the neck but the ability card hangman guarantees it.

Do all story missions to have the mash cost permanently reduced by $10 ($60>$50). Do bootlegger missions to temporarily reduce the price further, can go all the way down to $10.
Leveling up the role will unlock the upgrades for you to buy.

If you only care about the XP, I believe the fastest way to level is just running the weak stuff over and over- don’t worry about breaking bottles since it doesn’t affect XP IIRC, just the cash.
I didn’t get to test it when I wasn’t max level so I’m not 100% sure if the moonshine Role XP is affected though, but I did find that the regular XP isn’t so I’m just assuming.

I clicked it believing it would only charge me for my repetition rifle but took 20 bucks or more so I assume it bought all the ammo.
