If you haven’t done your 2 factor authorization you can get 10 that way. Other than that, no. Unless you want to use a micro transaction there is no fast way to get gold. Just gotta keep doing dailies, maps and bounty/stranger missions

@dapper walrus Bounty and stranger mission give more payout for every 3 mins passed after the quest has started, so delivering the target after 12 mins has passed will give you more rewards in gold, exp and cash. It's .32 gold per normal bounty. You can wait for more than 12 mins and it will still increase up to 30 mins but 12 min is the most ideal because after that the multiplier bonus only increase half as much.. so i always call this the 12 mins rule, this affect legendary bounties as well. The timer start as soon as the quest has started, so it doesn't matter how much minute the in game timer has left or if it doesn't have a timer, just start your stopwatch as soon as it began and deliver it after it reaches 12 mins!

also you can get food for free by hunting animals.. cook them meats in the firepit and you get more benefit than buying provisions from the store anyway, my character is always overweight lol

@solemn badger story missions, stranger missions, daily challenges and free roam event. after that the first license you should get is bounty role as it's the only role that reward you with gold, easy way to get the other license after that!

So they have been of no use to me

@raw marsh it's definitely worth buying if u like the the bounty hunter role, but yeah the targets will still run off. Some will but not all of them. They usually have pretty high payouts greater than a tier 3 bounty poster with one target. There are rare occasions where none of the 6 ppl will run off. Got that myself only twice tho

Shotguns

Pump Action has the best accuracy (smallest bloom sizes and fastest shrink) which makes it the most consistent for one shot kills. Most reliable in general.

Repeating is essentially a little less accurate (slightly larger bloom sizes) in exchange for one extra shot; maybe more preferable in PvE but not PvP- stats wise.

Double Barrel has the highest damage per pellet ratio, thus the most damaging at further ranges but because of its poorer accuracy (larger bloom sizes, slowest bloom shrink) you need to use PiB to really take advantage of it.

Semi-Auto has horrendous accuracy (largest bloom sizes, slow bloom shrink) and its increased rate of fire is irrelevant when aiming because it’s so insignificantly faster. However when hipfiring you’ll notice a much faster rate of fire. Thus it is best used in Slippery Bastard since all accuracy is standardized and shotguns should be hipfired using that ability anyway since hipfire has a smaller bloom size than aiming for shotguns when affected by SB.

Sawed Offs aren't fairly comparable to the longarm shotguns. They make for a good dual wield weapon when using two medium-long range longarms however. They fire very quickly and have very high DPS when in very close range, as well as access to two special ammo types. However their limited range, and high rate of fire makes them chew through ammo quickly.

Oh, yeah their stats. My stats are up to date and the correct ones, I was comparing the stat bars in game according to how they actually perform and noting what was incorrect. Like some examples:

LeMat showing a faster reload speed than the Sawed Off on the bar, but in reality it’s much slower.
The Navy showing less damage than the Carbine on the bar, but actually dealing more damage than the Carbine.
The Lancaster showing a lower accuracy than the Springfield on the bar even though they are exactly the same in terms of accuracy. There are TONS of them

#

~182 incorrect stats of weapons when compared to weapons outside their class (like revolvers to repeaters, pistols to rifles, and everything in between)

~27 incorrect stats when comparing them to others in their weapon class (sidearms to sidearms, repeaters to repeaters, and so on)

#

Horseback doesn't make the accuracy worse than from on foot, in fact it technically makes it better since you can be at full gallop and still get the fully shrunk size which would only be possible when standing still on foot

Standard Rifles

Disclaimer: Damage values will change according to ability cards and weight. See the pinned Arsenal post for more information on weapon stats.

Bolt Action deals 58.55 damage and has a faster rate of fire than the Springfield. Better DPS along with the same great accuracy makes it objectively a better standard rifle.

Springfield deals 64 damage. It can potentially need one less shot to kill than the Bolt Action, but due to the lower rate of fire it offers it has a slower time to kill on average.

Elephant (Entry coming later)

Long Range Rifles

Special Note: Please use Sharpshooter when using either Long Range Rifle for better performance. It can be the difference between needing 1 or 2 shots with the Rolling Block when facing it's preferred target in PvP, and is quite nice for the Carcano and can lead to needing 1-2 fewer shots than normal when facing it's preferred target in PvP.

Rolling Block deals higher damage than the Carcano, unfortunately I could not get an exact damage value when within optimal range with it. My apologies. However it has a much slower rate of fire, which makes it's DPS slower than the Carcano. It is only superior than the Carcano when facing players who have at most 1 damage reduction card and are not using a health tonic.

Carcano deals 123.25 damage and has a much faster rate of fire than the Rolling Block. This gives it the DPS advantage. Overall it is the superior Long Range Rifle for both PvE and PvP. The fire rate alone makes it more useful in PvE due to facing groups of enemies, and the DPS it offers makes it superior against Tank Builds and any player using a Health Tonic, which is the vast majority of players.

@raw marsh I wouldn’t use NWO in PvE. It’s only a 10% damage reduction (same as IL) but once you lose your hat you are taking an additional ~25% damage. Main reason to use it is for that rare chance of deflecting a headshot in PvP. Strange Medicine is extremely powerful in PvE. I’d wholly recommend that over your other options. You could drop Iron Lung in favor of Eye For An Eye as well. EFAE and SM can give you practically endless dead eye and health if you can land headshots.

I wouldn’t recommend Come Back Stronger. It’s only a 15% increase in health regen speed. It’s very minor and Strange Medicine is much more powerful as a healing card.

Kick in the Butt will basically counteract the dead eye loss when taking damage during S&S, so you’d still be stuck with a limited duration as it isn’t strong enough to really earn back more than you use during dead eye and the replenishment outside of dead eye isn’t as plentiful as EFAE

#

A good tank build in PvE would be like:

Slow and Steady

Iron Lung: if you are good with headshots, it can technically give you higher damage reduction per enemy since it doesn’t need to ramp up, or...

Fool Me Once: gives more damage reduction after being ramped up, but only affects each individual enemy as they shoot you. Could be better if you are slower at getting headshots.

Strange Medicine: restores 20 HP (20% of the bar) on a headshot, and restores a lesser amount when dealing damage (amount restored is damage dependent)

Eye For An Eye: restores 20 Dead Eye (20% of the bar) on headshot. Can give you unlimited duration if you can land headshots quickly enough (1 headshot gives ~6 seconds of duration back, so you’d need to get a headshot every 6 seconds at least and a headshot every time you are shot ~3 times to stay at full)

well just get it i guess you can collect the mats, do the resupply and then wait for crisp to convert them into goods and then you can sell it. while you wait for the goods you can do some other activities like collecting stuff or do bounties

at rank 10 with large supply wagon you can sell the goods every 3 hours or so to get 600-700$ but remember you have to keep resupplying every 30 min to keep the production going

at a higher level gold tends to just come in over time from dailies and bounties

lvl 20 bounty hunter and a 2.5 daily multiplier usualy nets in a good 5 gold a day
