It looks like I'll be needing to do at least 2 bounty missions to get that Rank increase to one number. Had to knock down and hogtie both of them to get the right one . This time her gang started shooting and almost didn't make it to the police station.

For the regular bounty missions there's these missions where you have the Yellow area to,,,, Search the area for the target ( usually in the woods ). Where the target has set up a small camp . How does one search for these targets in the woods. It's like a needle in a haystack. Is there a certain way to do these types of missions.

A good way is to use your in game 2nd senses and you can see the trails that they went to and find clues

Yeah the fast recharge makes it unlimited but it turns itself off after a moment of using it, but it doesn’t have a core or ‘energy bar’ like the other things and dead eye do

I don’t use ability cards typically, the only ones I’ve seen work with dead eye and I don’t like dead eye. And I did have a shit ton of tonics, they all went real quick

You don’t have to use the dead eye ones, but there are lots of cards to help you boost health and stamina etc

Try Blackwater (easiest map in my book) with "camping" on the highest roof at the Sheriff's office (total overview). Have a sniper (carcano), a shotgun and revolver/pistols as backup. Have minty big game if needed, have tonics if needed, be patient and let them come to you (they will). Only go down between waves to resupply on ammo when a handful of enemies are left. Be aware of the armored wagons, there can still be one in there running around on ground. Never let the machete guys come close to you. If you hear a heartbeat sound, a sniper locked on you. Locate and kill them (reflection of their scope). Always move slightly. And place the NPC's, they are helpful and a distraction. They will die eventually, especially on solo.

These regular bounties don't seem to be working right . I get to the bounty location and the map does not show the difference between the enemy and the target . It shows all the enemy symbols/icons ,,but that's it. On the legendary bounties it shows the target in a more bold highlighted red symbol. Not the regular bounties.

Also ,,I've heard that the Trader role is supposed to be a passive role . Which I thought meant my character doesn't have to be there to make the income . I thought Cribbs does all the work and brings in the income . BUT ,,when shooting a deer and bringing it back to camp Cribbs does some work on it then says to deliver it . I don't think that's a passive role .

it does not make income passively, it gets ready to make income passively, unlike a role like collector where you ahve to do the collecting yourself.

its passive in that you dont have to be there while the goods are building up

however that doesnt account for restocking materials and supplies

cripps makes the goods, they will go up as long as youre in free roam and there is materials & supplies. however, if youre in a non-free roam mission (bounty, naturalist hunt, competitive event) your goods will not passively go up.

Ok first of all ,, is hunting for wild game supposed to be the main source of trading or is that a very small part of it...... And about the Materials and Supplies. Do I need to bring those to Cripps or does he get those himself. And is there a list of what the materials and supplies should be .

the "materials" im referring to are the wild game you hunt and bring back to the butcher table. that is the main part of the trader role, that and then delivering. its about 60% of it. animals you hunt are the only way to restock materials.

the "supplies" im referring to is the production that cripps presumably needs to actually make the goods. these are not tangible things, just supplies that the game says you need and that youll "run out of" every once in a while, although you have no real way of telling when. when you go to your butcher table, these are the things you can either choose to go on a supply mission to restock or can purchase to be shipped for $20.

correction, on the butcher table the "supplies" are called "production".

the wagon you deliver to the destination to get money is the goods

the supplies, or production, is something required in order to PRODUCE goods. there are many variations of the supply missions

its $20 if youd rather just have the prodiuction supplies delivered to your camp instead of having to do the mission yourself

yes you need two things (supplies + materials) - Cripps turns these to goods, then you deliver them (you don’t need to deliver until it’s all the way filled)

You can do a regular bounty mission,,but they do use a limited timer as soon as you start shooting. The legendary bounties only take 48 minutes to wait ,, then you can do one again.
