I’m pretty sure the hunting and prison wagon are pulled by one horse but moonshine and trading sell wagons are two horses but I’m pretty sure there is no difference in a wagons performance with one or two horses.

These are 2 different things.
There's general rank (think of it like level) and there's ranks for each role - bounty hunter, trader, etc
You can check those more in depth at Exit/Pause Menu > Progress

Do the main quest missions, they offer hefty rewards.
Get the Bounty Hunter role as soon as possible as it rewards gold.
Farm the Etta Doyle legendary bounty, its the easiest. Probably can find guides online since I cba
As soon as you get 15 more gold from bounties, invest in either trader or collector role
Collector - More $
Trader - More eventful, unlocks Moonshiner later, so extra role. Moonshiner is passive income which is great
Don't invest gold in weapon design or clothes until you have all roles unlocked.

On the main quest missions - half of them depend on whether you're high or low honor.
You can for example do all main quest + all high honor quests. Then you can visit the honor change NPC (ez to find on map, dual honor icon) to swap to low honor. That will give you the low honor main quests. So 4 extra + more rewards, but you have to invest some $$ to swap honor
And honor doesn't really matter in online (imo? since ugh its not like storymode with endings so yea

Ya, I'm not used to it. But I'm trying to get better. It also depends on the weather,, especially the fog . And you're battling 15 of Gene Beau Finley's gang outside . Then 5 to 7 in the house ,,,which can be a very tough task .
I've done that mission 2 times successfully. Other times I failed, but that happens.

One legendary bounties mission I'll never try again. Philip Carlier mission. In the swamp His gang have machete and come at you like their on speed or something. And they have crocodiles. You barely have time to raise your gun to shoot ,,they sneak up on you when you're not looking.

For the Gene Beau Finley mission I discovered the trick is to not let him escape outside the house. Keep him inside the house... After I eliminate the outside gang members,,First I whistle for my horse to be ready near the door. .... Shoot the light at the front door . Maybe throw dynamite in the front door to eliminate the 2 guards on the first floor ,,or just shoot them . Then go up the stairs maybe using Dead Eye to aim better at the 3 guards on the second floor. After that ,,one more guard in the room comes out and fill him up with hand gun bullets . Grab Gene with the lasso,, get down stairs quickly and start riding faster than ever to get out of there with his friends possibly on your tail. Until getting to Rhodes

I'll be rotating between legendary and regular bounties. The Legendary bounties I do are near St Denis and Rhodes. So getting regular bounties in the same area makes sense

I just tried a regular bounty,,after I did another Etta Doyle mission..But failed again with that timer . This one only had 5 gang members which I eliminated. But he took off and I could not find him . Then did another Etta Doyle mission. Raised the Bounty Hunter Rank up to 4 with only 2 Etta Doyle missions this time . And got 7 blue chips total. Damn good mission.

Ya, I think so about the methodology. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell if it's her or one of her gang . But it takes some getting used to. And the fact it only takes around 10 minutes,,give or take ,,, to capture her after the cutscene is worth it. And if I screw it up somehow,,I just let them shoot my character and restart the mission.

I actually take her right to the jail . Because 2 times she got off the horse somehow. It was probably an error on my part . So for now ,,until I get that wagon I'll take her right to jail . Don't want to risk losing her again . And even after I took her to jail right away,, I still got a big amount of payment out of it .
And this ,,Etta Doyle mission,,,is much better than the Gene Beau Finley mission. His place takes me about 60 minutes to accomplish. Because of the weather conditions that occur and constantly regaining my characters health. And the trick there is make sure he doesn't leave the house.
I sort of miss doing the Gene Beau Finley mission. Only because it's good shooting practice.

"Etta Doyle mission" is the best,you just wait 4 min and 5 sec into the tunnel then tie her up,call your horse,run to her guards,dynamite all 3 wagons,come back to her and stow her on your horse and go loot the guard bodyes and the horses and your ready to go, 1300xp,300$+ and good nuggets.

Well damn . Using dynamite to blow up their wagons. Now THAT is a great idea . But I'll do that after I get the Bounty Wagon and put Etta Doyle into it .

I don't think you have enough time to put her into the bounty wagon,you have only few seconds to go to the guards wagons,they will leave pretty fast
and is a pretty big boost in xp to go blow all them up

Do something else,go to Roles,on the novice down on the right there the reinforced lasso,i think that will keep her for good,i haven't tested it but i will and let you know how good it is

No worryes,I just started playing RDO 3 days ago and i still have lot of things to learn about RDO, but i've had a good 220 hours on story mode completing all achivements so there are little things about the game itself that i need to learn. I hope i was of help at least a little.
