"Good and Dead" is really easy, you just need to memorize the three possible spawn points for the target. "Rich pickings - Braithwaite Manor" is another good one; also no cooldown so you can grind it continuously

trader is more profitable tho, like 500+ dollas per trip if u upgrade everything

you can get like a max of 90 dollars doing missions, but it depends what animal you're going after. getting samples from animals doesnt get you a whole lot of money, but the bigger the animal the more money (iirc an elk sample will get you around $14.50)
you can only do missions once you've got to level 5 which can be annoying but you start to level up pretty quickly once you start doing missions. it does make it very easy to get legendary animals which is good. and it's 3x right now but not sure how long that will last. so there's more profitable roles, but i'd say naturalist is worth it. missions can be pretty short so it's a quick way to get just under $100

moonshiner, u dont need to gather anything, but a few items to flavor the moonshine

50 dollars initially to start off a batch, 30-10 if u do a couple of moonshiner side missions.

also, the trips are shorther than trader, but u can break your bottles if u drive recklessly

and lose money

trader, u have to hunt, either a lot, or just a few carcasses if theyre all 3 star.

and in order to get max profit, u need to run long distance deliveries, during which players could attack u. i did 1 today, and a guy killed me. fortunately, he was low level so i was able to easily re obtain my wagon

i feel like in terms of points, they can be similar. xp thru deliveries, and xp thru side missions (supply runs for cripps)

😭 i helped the level 20 guy with his moonshiner ambush, and he rewarded me by killing me and stealing my wagon, ungrateful af.

I have many horses and don't think there is a best one. Horse, saddle, and stirrups all matter. Arabian has great speed and acceleration. I generally prefer the Turkoman though because it is taller with great speed and stamina. One thing to remember is once you buy a horse (many), they stay in your stables and you are charged for them. Not a bad thing if you have lots of $$ but kind of a waste if you tend to use one or two.

There are all types of players on RDR including griefers. If you don't want to be bothered you could join a friendly posse or set your play to defensive. Then they generally won't bother you. I left a long term posse because they enjoyed jumping on players and killing them.

hello! this is the chat for red dead online, not for the single player story mode, however to answer your question the bounty should only be in effect in the region you busted micah out of jail from (west elizabeth). the bounty should not be on you in, lets say new hanover. if it is, you committed crimes there too. in that case, you can get money from just doing things that earn you money (selling valuables to a fence, selling skins and materials to a butcher, etc) and then paying off your bounty. theres also the method i recommend, which is treasure hunting!

worse case scenario here, you can just run from the bounty hunters and law enforcement until your bounty is gone:) but most likely you can just go to the region over, presumably where your camp is depending on which chapter yer in.

Hello all quick question here I have completed the Etta Doyle bounty many many times and have been anticipating the 3x rdo since the last event I have now completed the Etta Doyle bounty twice since this 3x rdo on bounty hunter and both times let the 30 mins elapse expecting to get $650 / 1.25 gold and just like the first time last night I only received $450 / 96 gold anyone able to elaborate why

It depends which legendary bounty you're doing. Etta Doyle's one of the top paying ones. It pays $225 and 0.48 gold when it's not on bonus

I assume you’re talking about story mode and not the online mode, you can get yourself arrested in the cops take you in. And then Dutch or Hosea will try and talk you out of. Beyond that, if you don’t want to go that route of getting caught, there’s a number of gold bars and some of them are quite easy to get that give $500 apiece when you sell them at the fence. Who is the number of other ways to wrap up cash fast . Hunting three star pelts, robbing houses, doing the treasure missions, all produce a huge amount of cash in a short amount of time

I’ve had a lot of grief today, just this evening. I am wanting to avoid cities like Blackwater and tumbleweed because they are so wide open, the topography or lack there of makes it too easy for a griefers to snipe you with a rolling rifle. in the tumbleweed area sniper is like to snipe your horse and then you when you’re doing bounties riding back to the sheriffs office. In Blackwater, I have people starting this fights with me to try to start a feud. I think those two cities are the high concentration of people who wanna do that sort of thing. I don’t encounter nearly as much of that in the other cities or areas of the game.

Make sure you turn in the bounty alive

You have to turn in the bounty in the last 30 seconds of the timer to get up the full bonus, and make sure the bounty is still alive

From what I understand, the collector missions and trader missions can be pretty profitable as well, maybe next month there will be a bonus for trader or collector or herbal omissions

But this month with the bonuses, it’s definitely bounty hunter missions

For anyone just starting out who is struggling I would definitely say get your 10 free gold from the two FA authentication with rockstar, use that 10 gold to start doing bounty hunter missions

Just make sure to run the timer down to 30 seconds before turning in the bounty. I usually spend the waiting time going hunting fur trader missions to kill two birds with one stone. I try to snipe the gang with a bow, hogtie and knock out the target and let them sit there and I go hunting because usually I have too much extra time and want the bonus for turning in the bounty in the last 30 seconds

I guess another thing you could do is do the bounty mission but don’t turn in the bounty, just leave the body near the sheriff station go and do a resupply mission for the trader

I mean sometimes I’ll finish a bounty with 15 extra minutes. More than enough to re supply cripps

You can do main missions, daily challenges and when you get gold buy bounty hunter

It is the best role to get xp for beginers

By the 4 and 5 star difficulties, her gang can inflict some heavy damage however, and they can take a hit too, so i recommend getting a pump shotgun, a decent repeater (Lancaster recommended) and the reinforced lasso
