How can I gain XP quickly in the Naturalist role? Dealing with crocodiles is boring. I am level 2 in the Naturalist role

Start to collect multiple sets of mountain and grassland animals. Don't sell until you have 10 complete sets. But the naturalist role is practically useless after level 5. So just try to push to level 5. And about the sets of samples collecting, you will find it difficult to find timberwolf. Try to be near the moonstone pond and the nearby areas at night. And don't forget to trade in after completing a set of samples. That way you can have a $140 and 1000 naturalist role XP. So if you sell 10 complete sets of mountain and grassland animals you will have 10000 XP.

Then buy the collector role. But this month it's the trader role giving 3X $ but taking significant time to produce goods. Nonetheless in my opinion you should buy the bounty hunter then the collector role.

Only issue with bounty hunter is that legendary bounties have a cooldown between doing them.. and doing normal bounties is really fucking boring and gets old and repetitive quickly

If you have friends it can be fun. There's way less cheaters now that the game is properly dead but you'll likely still have around oneish for every lobby. It's just a gamble whether they'll be a dick or an extra small dick. Most of the playerbase is just new players so it's pretty chill.
